Hotel O Diamond

Decent hotel in budget but linen is very dirty and full of dirty stains. Washroom are also very dirty and smelly. Staff is also decent. proper cleaning is necessary for all hotels, so please maintain hygiene and cleaning. Otherwise budget is good.

We went to Amritsar after Vaishno Devi Darshan with wife. I booked the room through Agoda's website. On Agoda's website, the picture of the room looked great. But actually the room was very dirty. There was a strange smell as soon as I entered the room. Unwashed sheets and blankets, broken switchboard, broken toilet seat, lots of disappointment. But it was a long night, so we had to stay there.

We reached there at on 22nd Dec night. The first thing we saw was the room in the Make My Trip site was different than what we got, this drooped our faces only to find that the floor of the room was dirty. Adding to our situation, we found the bed sheets and the blanket were not washed and very dirty, not just dust dirty, but with a little blood stain too. When asked to change the cover of the blanket, they had no response, although they did change the bedsheet, but it had holes and not very clean. For a room for two, they gave just one bath towel, no hand towel or anything. Next day, when we asked for towels, they didn't have any since last day ones didn't dry out. After repeatedly asking we somehow managed to get the towels which were looking dirty and not fully dry. In winter season they don't have facility to provide you hot drinking water on demand. On the brighter side the bathroom was neat and clean, the staff did clean the room properly on the second day. The manager did help us with getting dinner on our check-in date, since our train got too late and almost everything was shut in then city. He was polite and helpful too. But that is not what we paid for, we paid for a room of Rs. 2.5k given by MMT on discounted price, but it actually isnt worth that price to start with. Not quite the experience we were expecting, but if you are not looking for clean sheets and Clean utensils then this is the place for you!

Totally Fraud, bunch of cheaters Oyo gang. Booking cancelled before checkin as hotel denied to checkin and ask more money. Oyo show us checked-in the room and denied to refund. I request please avoid Oyo and book room directly. Also avoid hotel diamond.

It is 1 km away from Golden temple. We visited in May and we got a reasonable price ( rs.800 for 2 people)

Nice hotel ..near to bus stand ..easy to reach ..rooms are cleaned and maintain ..
