We received a very warm welcome at the reception. Condition of the property is very good with power back up and a lift. Rooms are clean, hygienic with TV, washrooms are in good condition and as shown in the photos. Special mention for shri. Kamal thakurji for all his wonderful advise & support on local sightseeing, cab booking and personally attending every call without delay. Thanks for making our stay at Amritsar memorable and comfortable.

We recently visited amritsar and booked this hotel through oyo. We are a family of three from Chennai. This hotel is definitely worth every penny you pay. The rooms were very neat and restroom was very clean. No complaints against the rooms. Full points for location as it is right opposite the bus stand and near the gurudwara and at the centre of the city.||But more than the rooms and location, what I really liked about this hotel was the helpful staff there. They arranged transports for us for sightseeing at a very nominal rate. They also picked us up from the gurudwara at 1.30am. That is how helpful they are. They have their own autos and cars so transportation wont be a problem when you are visiting amritsar.||They also serve breakfast, lunch and dinner and the food too was great!||Overall, a very happy and memorable experience all thanks to the very kind staff here. Definitely recommend this place to everyone.

On 14th of August I checked in in the hotel late night. Hotel was quite good. It was clean hotel with all amenities. Just one suggestion , hotel should provide flip flop to the visitors. And in the late night when I asked a cup of tea hotel staff said sorry sir cook now fall asleep. When in the morning I asked for the breakfast hotel staff replied sir cook on holiday. Ok finally I asked a taxi for airport amritsar and staff quoted the price INR 800 and then I checked for UBER it was just for INR400.

The hotel staff and the manager are very cordial and helpful. The hotel is also neat and clean. Service is quick. They also went an extra mile by arranging food for my sick mother at 2 am, when most outlets were closed. They also helped her reach the railway station safely, though it was not their responsibility. Amazing overall experience..

Worst Hotel Hotel Star Metro INN, near guru nanak bhawan Amritsar, City Centre, Amritsar, Punjab 143001 - Booking from 28th Jan 17 to 31st Jan 17. Hotel Star Metro INN – Worst Hotel – Sharing my experience||I have stayed in more that 50 hotels in my life but I have not seen the worst hotel like Hotel Star Metro Inn , Near Guru Nanag Bhawa, Amritsar. I personally advise the tourists not to book that hotel. I visited with my family and at night at around 11.30 AM the police had raided the hotel. The staff behaviour Specially Mr Manoj from the hotel don’t know how to behave with the guests. Don’t book any cab from the hotel. I have booked it from 9.30 am to 7 . 30 Pm and the driver left me at 5.00 pm . when I have asked the hotel manager he said he has other bookings also. This Hotel was recommended by OYO Rooms. Oyo, please prioritise you selection while keeping this kind of worst hotel in your panel. The breakfast quality was so poor that its better that you eat outside the hotel. They serve you the breakfast in a hall which looks like a Car parking garage. I cant rate this hotel POOR because it is worst . The rooms shown in the pics is not the same. The bed sheet , the pillow cover , the floor mat all these things are very dirty. You will not find any cover in the blanket. I checked in the hotel at 2 AM because New Delhi Amritsar shadbadi was rescheduled . I changed 3 rooms at that time because in 2 rooms Fans were on and the switches are broken and its winter. ||The 3rd room which I have been provided , had a broken Cupboard. ||On the check out day the manager was keep on calling to have the poorest quality breakfast and reminding me the checkout time. I have booked 2 rooms for 4 persons where OYO had booked for 6 persons. I have paid the entire money in advance. While checking out the hotel guy was asking me to pay more for 2 persons because oyo had send them the details for 6 persons. I said why im going to pay more where only 4 persons have checked in. The manager was threatening like he I have to pay the balance amount else he will beat me. I called to OYO call centre they listened my call recording while booking and then modified the booking. The overall experience was pathetic with the hotel.

Decent hotel with basic amenities available. Pros : 1. Located at prime spot this place is very near from Amritsar bus stop, Amritsar railway station as well as Golden temple. 2.Rooms were decent with facilities like AC, TV and Geyser at working condition. 3.Staff was co-operative on most of the occasions. Cons: 1. Lobby, stairs and corridors were very congested and only one person can pass through at time. 2. No dedicated dine area or restaurant which means you need to consume your food in hotel room which can be very discomfortable in many situations. 3. Lift has issues and during our time we need to get doen 5 floors with our luggage as lift got stuck with most of the staff was in the lift.
