Worst Hotel Experience: Cheating and Scamming in Amritsar I strongly advise against booking this hotel. It is an unsafe and disgraceful place in Amritsar. Due to the behavior of the hotel staff, my perception of the city and its Sikh community has been tarnished. This hotel's actions are an injustice to both the Sikh community and the reputation of Amritsar. Here are the details of my terrible experience: Room Quality: - The photos online are deceptive; the actual room was completely different. - The room was dirty with a foul smell. - The bedsheets and blankets were in poor condition. - The shower was non-functional, and the air conditioning did not work. Service: - The service was disgraceful. - The manager was extremely rude and insulting. - He demanded an additional ₹1000 just to view the room and threatened us when we refused. I felt unsafe, especially as I was with young children and women. Location: - The location was dirty and noisy. - It is not suitable for anyone seeking a peaceful stay. This was the worst experience I have ever had. If you value your safety and comfort, avoid this hotel at all costs.

Extremely Unsafe and Poorly Managed My recent stay at this hotel was a nightmare from start to finish. The property is extremely unsafe, and the management is the worst I have ever encountered. The rooms are tiny, filthy, and suffocating. The air conditioning did not work, making the room unbearably hot and uncomfortable. To make matters worse, they charged us more than the actual amount quoted. While we were outside of the room, the manager stole money and personal belongings from us. Terrible Experience - Do Not Stay Here I had an incredibly disappointing experience at Hotel Shehnaz Inn in Amritsar. Before we entered, the male staff was in our room with another guy for hookup-fun. This was extremely embarrassing and inappropriate, especially since I was with my family. The rooms are tiny and the property is very old. The pictures shown on Google are outdated and do not represent the current state of the hotel. Additionally, the staff is rude and their behavior is unacceptable. I would never suggest anyone to stay here. There are much better options available in Amritsar. Avoid this place at all costs!

Most pathetic hotel i have ever seen. It was my family trip to holycity but When i entered in the room to check; the male receptionist was with another guy for hookup tht time. Washrooms are tiny; staff is not supportive. POV- if they offer you “family room”- please dont accept. They hav only 1 washroom with 6 bed family room.

One of the worst hotels. Very old congested and basic things also not available. AC is fixed at 20 and sometimes they switch off from main switch. No ventilation. They don't even provide glass to drink water. They use the old plastic bottles which guest leaves to refill and provide in rooms. Bathrooms also not very clean.

Great service, Paji gave me a soap and bottle of water first. Many hotels does not do that now days. Helped to get a nice room with in my budget. I would recommend this hotel for sure and hoping to see next time. 10/10 for sure.

The place is beautiful. Even the entry walking in, you feel like your going to some undiscovered sanctuary. The staff picked us up and when we arrived .This was exactly what I was looking for. My mom paid for the trip so I wanted to treat her to a nice hotel. If you've looked around there are a lot of hotels that are inexpensive. But if you want to upgrade, you wont regret coming here. Our room was just lovely and the staff were incredibly friendly and accommodating. I hope the owner pays his staff for their hard efforts, because they made us feel like royalty.

They cheated us. We booked 2 rooms here and when we reached here they said us that they only have 1 room available. When we shown our booking details, the person started arguing with us. Though we hadn't paid any advance money on booking we opted for a different hotel.
