Hotel Raj Continental

If u are a foreigner and have standards do not stay in this hotel, the customer service is very bad, the rooms are in rough shape and mine had roaches. The person taking order for the restaurant should be fired , placed my order i waited for 2 hours food never came.. also only the staff at the reception speak english most of the worker didnt even speak hindi, punjabi only some of them were very very nice and tried their best but still the service the hotel offers is just low.

Pathetic rooms pathetic service pathetic food there managers are goons , they don’t know how to talk with guests. Even zero star is too much for them. Please don’t even think of staying in this property.

The location is bit ′meh′, but the food is nice. Service can be tad slow if you're there with a lot of friends. Parking is available and at no extra charge (which is a nice thing because of the location where all parking area are paid). Dining areas are spacious, staff are helpful. Recommended for occasional gatherings and meets.

I am very disheartened with the quality of rooms. I booked a suite online, but to my dismay, I was initially given an executive room, which was small. After reminding them ,I was given a suite. I had to get the rooms sweeped again, reminded them to give me water bottles and towels. Bed sheets were not fresh, and upholstery of the furniture was not clean. This place is not recommendable.

Rooms are ok but the bathrooms could be improved (atleast need to have a shower screen). The service is good and quick and the food was also good. We woke up midnight as some people were arguing loudly on our floor and this went in for more than half an hour or so.

I am not critical of hotels and rooms, but when you don't start your day with a hot shower, fresh and nice, you know the rest of the day isn't going to go very well. And that's exactly what happened. I was very disappointed with the hotel. The rooms are quite old, the sheets on the bed were not very clean, which is quite a bad turn off. There was not a drop of hot water in my room or my children's room. I told the receptionist, if you give us half the service during our stay, aren't we are entitled to give you only half the payment. The toilets were not at all upto the mark. I have seen much better in even smaller cities. The highlight of the trip was the AC in the room leaked water all over the table, the tv, set top box, the hot water kettle, everything on the table was soaked and all on the floor. We got up in the morning to see a great pool of water. My wife's phone on the table for ruined completely. I was taken by someone, but truly one of my friends and my greatest regrets for sure, having come to this beautiful holy City. I was really disappointed with the whole hotel. I expected better. It was booked through an app, and have since discontinued using that app. To add to it, there was an English foreigner in the lobby also complaining and shouting at the receptionist, about no hot water, and someone entering the room in her absence. The hot water, I did sympathise with her, as I went through the same horrid experience. I would definitely give it a miss the next time I am in the city. The location is great, but definitely requires a makeover in such a competitive environment of hotels and hospitality.

Staff are very polite and helpful. Rooms are neat and clean with proper lighting. But little more cleaning of Rooms are required.

Good hotel i usually visit for dinner with my family and friends. Good food at reasonable price. Recently they have reduced the quality of dish. Not visited their Room
