Hotel 56 Amritsar ( 200 Meters from Golden Temple and Jallianwala Bagh )

Hotel reception staff is incompetent to handle customer professionally. In my case i had the Advance booking slip & paid advance as well, however after reaching hotel well before 12 noon, they allotted my rooms to another customer offering better room rate than me.

STAY AWAY FROM THIS HOTEL. They are fraud, even if you book in advance and go there, they can deny you a room and sell it to someone else on higher price.

Not a good place to stay.They don't provide any quality service. Even the jet spray wasn't working properly.

Very helpful and kind staff. Good service. Nice and clean accommodation. Highly recommendable hotel

The location is perfect near the partition museum, but very noisy because it is located on a busy street. the hotel is clean but they charge for mineral water. TV is a bit of a problem, sometimes ok sometimes auto off. the hotel also has an elevator from reception to room, which is good for me not to climb the stairs.

Thanks to Amit for always guiding me as I was alone do they told me to be extra careful. Thanks to Rinku as I wanted to go early morning gurudwara darshan n he waited with me till I don't get e-riksha. Overall my stay was good.

Pathetic rooms and non existent service. Stained bed sheets and rooms are very bad in condition. Very risky stair cases with no safety till 5th floor. Please dont waste your money here. I would gove 0 rating but not the option.
