Good budget hotel having 48 rooms mostly double bedded and some four bedded. Has one banquet hall in the basement for holding marriage and other small functions. Valet parking. Food is served mostly in the rooms. Food quality is good. For group of people, buffet is arranged in the basement. Located at 1.5 kms from the Golden temple.

One of the best experience of my life highly recommend. .. Rooms are neat and clean.. Washeoom. Is also clean... And premium appealing Staff at reception is highly cooperative.... They can support you with their best efforts .. Restaurant service is also best in taste.... Best hotel under 1000-1500 range for a couple.... Extremely recommend

1. The water was yellowish in colour. 2. The comforter was wet. 3.The remote cells were not changed after informing. Overall good and economical in 1500/-we got room for 3 people (adult).

Had a stay for 2 nights. Very well maintained rooms, courteous staff. Good room service. Good food and ambience. We had reached late at night but the staff had called us well in advance to confirm what time we would be reaching so as to make arrangements for our dinner in case we had to reach very late.

Built at a prime location, This is the BEST place to stay in Amritsar, pretty clean sophisticated room with good AC and TV connection and clean washroom, good room service and very helpful Reception (or Owners I guess). Its highly recommended to stay  at Hotel 49. Kudos to the team.

I recently stayed at Hotel 49 during my visit to Amritsar and found it to be a decent option for the price. The service provided was commendable, especially considering the affordable price point. However, there were a few areas that could be improved upon, such as room service and the availability of amenities like a kettle in the room. Despite these minor shortcomings, overall, it was a satisfactory stay given the price paid. The hotel is located on a peaceful road without much traffic disturbances.
