OYO 13140 Mayur Palace

Thank you for hosting us at chandigarh. What we liked: Hotel owner was friendly, helpful. Outside food was allowed. Checkout time was relaxed on request. Breakfast quality and quantity was good. Breakfast was provided before the scheduled time (8-10 am) What we disliked: Rooms were small. It took 15hrs to get the TV working. The geyser was not working throughout the stay. AC remote was not provided, and was of old model, it could not warm the room. A small local soap was provided in the name of toiletries. There was no bathroom slippers. No cupboard... bed was so positioned as the existing shelf was not accessible. Room keys were not provided for one of the room. Room has damps, multiple tiles. Bedsheet, pillow cover, blanket cover was dirty... on request, they could change only the bedsheet There were no charging plugs near the bed... not enough sockets were there. Toilet was not clean. Toilet was quite small to make you uncomfortable. In house restaurant was not there. Corridor lights were disturbing when you go to bed... glasses used were giving a feel of breach of privacy. Conclusion: If you are really in crunch of your budget, you may want to try this hotel.. but its better to pre-book. On counter, you might have to pay higher. This hotel did not provide us with value for money. Not going to stay in this hotel again.

Pros : 1. Good hospitality by the caretaker 2. No one will disturb throughout your stay 3. Restaurant and hotels are nearby 4. In budget Cons : 1. Bit old building but rooms were maintained 2. Washroom were not cleaned properly Suggestion : Do check your rooms beforehand and ask to clean washroom if required

Very bad hotel , please don't go there toilet not clear and no one Ac working , if you are going to this hotel it's your own risk . Why I contact to customer care . You said me if you are booking through Oyo site so I am not give room in my hotel so how can do this thing. No one properly close any door if anybody can enter in room at night .

Worst condition hotel, I stay there in ac room, light out within 30 min, inverter shutdown after 1 hr, worst experience ,I don't want to give any star but, If u want to stay in Naya gao ,then go to the cornor hotel I don't remember name but good hotel ,a very little expensive than this hotel but service is good

Because zero rating is not available so has to content with it, even their assest like AC, TV are of 1 and 2 star rating, also booked because all other hotel where we usually stay were booked on that given day so I googled around hotel near to PGI and one of the OYO customer told us about this hotel with “best in the class”, on arriving we had to change two rooms since AC was not working and when finally shifted to another room there was blackout which was later restored with generator but till now (2:45 am) normal light is not there so no AC and still awake along with my wife and 6 months daughter (all sweating)who has her test in PGI today at 9:00 am, poorest of the service and amenities, toilet stinking, ants crawling, mosquitoes flying, won’t recommend

Worst ever experience with this Hotel as even after paying the complete amount online, they said rooms are not available. Along with me 5 other guys who had booked rooms were stranded outside on a rainy night. Cheats!
