Hyatt Regency Ludhiana

We had an excellent stay. The following staff members were exceptional and provided world class service - Joyti, Kajal, Neeraj, Vishal, Saphi, Sumit, Mohosin,Rishabh and Amit Bharti. They are truly role models. Breakfast and all meals were exceptional. We stayed there for nearly a month and each day was wonderful thanks to the staff. We look forward to coming back.

I had an excellent experience from check-in to check-out. I arrived early, and the duty manager, Ripudaman Singh, along with front desk team member Komal Joshi, went out of their way to ensure I got a room quickly without having to wait long. The restaurant on the first floor is a fantastic dining option, offering both a buffet and à la carte meals. The restaurant staff were incredibly courteous and attentive. While waiting for my room, I sent my clothes for laundry, and they were impressively returned the same day. Overall, it was a truly wonderful stay.

Absolutely wonderful service from all the staff, beginning at check in. The one thing I would suggest needs improvement is some of the cleansiness eg carpets in the room are a little worn down with stains so a refurb would be very welcome. Breakfast and food in general was great, and Anish who was one of the waiters needs a special mention - exceptional service, attention to detail and friendliness. Entertained the children and catered to our every need, even when things weren't easily available. 5 star still given despite some of maintenance issues, simply because the service was that good. Thank you.

We upgraded to a large suite which was very clean but found the amenities in the room lacking.|The hotel directory is via a qr code and takes ages to read through to what you want so a hard copy would be much better including the long tedious menus. |The tea and coffee offering was very lacking and not even a stirrer or spoon was available. |The air con whilst effective had a loud noise immigrating from it which made sleeping difficult whilst it was on so we turned it off.|The breakfast offering whilst looking very substantive was not the best in service.|We stayed 3 nights and at breakfast on each occasion we were asked what omelette we wanted so we would tell the waiter our choice and then they would just disappear. |What came back bore no resemblance to our order and the toast was burnt to a crisp. |By the time the correct order arrived it was a rush to finish.|One highlight was the barman in the gallery bar Sukdeep who was very attentive and looked after us.|Overall the hotel looks very smart but must improve it's staff training

I booked this hotel based of the reviews it has received on Tripadvisor. The hotel itself is in a good location, the room decor is very nice and the hotel in general is also nice. ||However, the cleanliness of the rooms are really poor, see the pictures I have inserted. The rooms are very very dirty, the bedding had stains on it and the carpet was terrible. The room was also missing a safe which is a compulsory item for any room. ||To add to this, I informed the front desk to clean my room several times and it was not done. This is not acceptable. ||Would I stay here again? Unfortunately not.

Our stay at Hyatt Regency Ludhiana was a deeply disappointing experience, far below the standards we’ve come to expect from the Hyatt brand. From the start, the hospitality was lacking—the doormen didn’t assist with opening car doors or handling luggage, even though we had little kids and our hands were full. There were no smiles or welcoming gestures from the staff, setting a poor tone for the stay. The most frustrating part was having to wait 3.5 hours after the check-in time to get our rooms. When we finally got them, the rooms were in terrible condition—dirty floors, a soggy and musty smell, and a general lack of cleanliness. Service was painfully slow; even simple requests like milk or tea took an unreasonable amount of time. Breakfast was a low point, with hair in our food, and the AC stopped cooling during the night, making the stay even more uncomfortable. To top it off, we found live cockroaches in the room—a completely unacceptable situation. Despite repeated complaints to the front desk and the rooms division manager, there was no acknowledgment or resolution of our issues. It was disheartening to see such disregard for guest concerns. The only saving grace was Sagar from in-room dining, who was pleasant and genuinely tried to improve our experience, as did one of the housekeepers on our floor. However, their efforts couldn’t make up for the poor overall hospitality, dirty rooms, and subpar service. This was by far the worst experience we’ve had at a Hyatt property. The lack of care and attention to basic hospitality standards was shocking. We would not recommend staying here.

Hotel front office team is great, they accepted my request of early check-in in the hotel, and they welcome you always with a smile. One of the hotels where I do get a good night sleep with comfortable bedding in the room. And would also like to add that room dining staff is cooperative, and serve to personal preferences as well !
