Hotel Parag

Been there with family and quite surprised to see the owner Pankaj Puri himself asked to supply young virgin girls serving Drugs in the rooms infact asked us if we want to have good quality cockain. Please do not go there with family.. highly not recommended. Seems like owner PANKAJ PURI is dodgy local guy.

"I had a wonderful time at Hotel Parag. The rooms were modern, comfortable, and thoughtfully designed. The housekeeping team did an excellent job of keeping everything clean and tidy. The hotel's location was fantastic, with easy access to nearby attractions and public transportation. The on-site restaurant served delicious meals, and the staff provided exceptional service throughout my stay. I would gladly return to Hotel Parag on my next visit."

The Hotel could be better as there was no room cleaning The washroom was dirty. Food was tasty but the service was slow and could be improved. ||Value for money but after Covid everyone have concern for the Hygiene which was missing here. ||It was ok to stay here but you will get a good option at the same rate but away from the bus stand area.

Hotel Parag is about 900 metres from Pathankot railway station. One can walk or take an auto to the station. They have AC well as non AC rooms. But AC rooms are recommended as they are more spacious and ventilated. Staff is polite and courteous. Someone is always available at check-in counter. They provide towels, soap and water in the room. One drawback is the steep staircase to the hotel. No lifts. Restaurant is present at the ground floor or one can order food in the rooms too. (August 2023)

The rooms were good however there were many mosquitos in the room and the owner wasn't aware of our visit which was quite surprising. The rooms are big, however the blankets were not washed.

Location is good with polite and accommodating staff. Rooms are adequate if stay is just for one night, but they could be better as they are a bit suffocating with no natural ventilation. Fit for the price range, but won't recommend for family.

Hotel is pretty good. But the stairs are little steep and it doesn't have a lift. Apart from that the hotel staff are very cooperative and they did give some discount because we booked a journey to Dharamshala upto Amritsar from Om Sai Travels. Apart from that, the stay was very smooth with no difficulty. I have just reduced one star for no lift and steep stairs.

Compared to three years earlier the staying experience wasn't that good. However price for the room is still unchanged but this time the room was not satisfactory at all. There was no ventilation in the room and basic amenities such as towel, soap, water weren't even asked which was strange. Speaking about the food, the taste was horrific. All the items ordered were missing their pure authenticity and it looked like food was prepared just to complete the formalities. The most annoying and harassing part was complete denial of online payment even after having option available for the same. If a customer has to struggle for such petty things even after having options available then this is loss to one's business not to the customer because he'll be harrassed only once. My recommendation would be, first ask about all basic facilities mentioned above only then proceed for the stay.
