The Raj Palace Hotel (Best Luxury Hotel in Bharatpur)

This hotel is situated very close to the Keoladeo Nation park so you can easily reach the park within 2-3 minutes. The hotel rooms quality and the services are average. Food quality is very good.

As the name it's a function (or for marriage) palace.. If you want to stay in economical room then it's a good place... They provide only breakfast, which is very limited.. Parking space is good.. forget to click room pics

Even after reading mixed reviews about the hotel, we decided to stay at this hotel after speaking to them on the phone and being assured by them that there will not be any problem in services provided. Also we got the very best rates compared to the rates offered by travel websites. Although the hotel is situated on highway , it is just 100 mtrs from the bird sanctuary.||||Check in was smooth at the impressive lobby . Clean and tidy linen, comfortable beds , good interior modern décor and up to date toiletries in rest rooms left us with no complaints. Service by restaurant staff and front office staff was helpful. Even the hotel grounds and lawns were very clean. Will stay here again on my next visit .

It is near to the Bird Sanctuary. The rooms are spacious and clean with requisite amenities. There is a lawn in front and maintained well. The management person is very helpful and willing to help on late check out or willing to pack the complimentary breakfast for the bird Sanctuary visit as we wanted to go at 6 am not to miss the birds. What ever food served is tasty. But most of the items in the menu are not available. We have to choose from what they are willing to cook. When we order a item the immediate response is - that can not be cooked. We stayed for 2 days and we learnt to ask what you can cook and order only that. Alternately we ate at the nearby restaurants.||||But the behaviour of the staff spoiled the show. may be they expect to be tipped in advance for the service. But normally we tip when we are satisfied with the service. Seeing their behaviour we never felt like tipping, but we tipped them on our check out. I hope the management takes note of this and improves staff behaviour to get across the good intent of the management..

we stayed here for one night. it's a good property located near Saras circle. the best thing about this property is its location near to the famous bird sanctuary. room were spacious, bathroom is also very large. property is tidy and neat. Wi Fi facility is also there. The best thing is the price which is too economical as compared to the quality of room provided to us. Food menu is not that costly as compared to other hotels but I can't say anything about the taste as we didn't order anything. staff were too courteous and friendly in nature. I would recommend this hotel to stay.

This is in bird sanctuary road, not walkable distance as reviews say. You need to take a rickshaw who charge Rs.30/-. Rooms are spacious clean and wash room is also clean. But the a/c makes noice needs maintenance. There is a big lawn and also a big spacious restaurant but not functional when we visited in September. May be it is for peak season and seems mainly for local functions. Food they provided room service and they had limited variety. We booked online and they provided room in the extension not in the main building. The online sites who offer booking should have some mechanism clients are given good rooms too. free wifi it said online which never worked.

Worst experience ever. Booked through mmt, and opted for cash at hotel option. Showed up at 4 pm to find the rooms has not been reserved for me. I co-ordinated with MMT team, but this hotel did not budge. MMT had to offer an alternative option eventually. It was raining outside and i was drenched. Wasn't even offered water etc. Totally unprofessional.

I booked this hotel because it is on main highway and very close to Keoladeo National Park, Bharatpur. Rooms are big enough and they are very clean but staff gave only one towel for two people and they have excuses for this treatment. The biggest joke was that there was no normal water, Either you take a branded water bottle or go to the ground floor to fill your bottle by a water filter, which was probably for the staff. No inhouse food facility in hotel so we had to order dinner from outside. TV was useless because you can watch only news channel.
