I had a wonderful time at Hotel Sunbird. The rooms are very comfortable and excellent with all the facilities that one could ask and wish for. Moreover, the location is great and very close to the Keoladeo National Park (Bharatpur bird sanctuary) main gate so it hardly takes less than 2 minutes to get to the National Park. The owner - Laxman ji - is a great host and is very passionate about bird photography himself. The staff members are very courteous and go out of the way to ensure you have a comfortable stay especially Dharmender. Highly recommended

I booked this hotel online and found it to be below average, Bathrooms were not clean, Breakfast had very limited options the cornflakes had insects in it. When we reported to the manager Mr Laxman Singh, he was very rude to talk and started shouting, He seems to be a local villager who does not have any hospitality and service industry experience, room rates were high, room service not available in room, restaurant is highly priced with no taste. The only advantage you get is, it is very near to bird sanctuary, they keep cycles also and charge 3 times the cycle rate of what you get directly in bird sanctuary and will misguide you that we are offering you at the same rate as that of bird sanctuary. You can get much better hotel at the same price in the vicinity.

Great location and easy access. Bird Sanctuary is at walkable distance. Hotel gives an attractive Haveli look. Rooms are spacious and well maintained. Food okay. Cooperative staff. Roadside parking. Great value for money.

I visited this hotel with my family who first of all charged extensively and had no fixed rate for anything, Everyone was trying to make money only. Rooms were also not up to the price paid for. Breakfast had limited options and the worst part was it was unhygienic, the chocos had insects and mouse were freely roaming in the restaurant. This became more painful when we spoke to the manager Mr. LAXMAN SINGH, he was extremely rude and started shouting, had no respect of any feedback for improvement and the customer. This hotel is a big NO, only advantage is the bird sanctuary is nearby but there are many better options in close vicinity.

Laxman ji, the owner was in touch over the phone from the time we made our booking. His staff was expecting us, helped us on arrival and had already arranged a very good guide Ranbir and an e-rickshaw to visit the national park soon after freshening up after arrival. Had a magical 3 hours: afternoon-evening in the park - Ranbir was a fount of knowledge about the park, the birds and the plants n animals there. We wish we could have stayed longer. The hotel is just 250 metres from the park entrance and has an electric vehicle (ev) fast charging station (Statiq) just outside. Unfortunately, it was under maintenance when we were there, but Laxman ji was very gracious in organising a slow charging facility for our ev within the hotel premises. The room and bathroom were very clean, the staff was very helpful and we thoroughly enjoyed our stay and the breakfast.

This has to be one of the few hotels in Bharatpur which can be listed for business and leisure purpose. Below some of the details 1. The property is on the highway to Jaipur and its close to bird sanctuary which is a walkin distance 2. The property is well maintained with outside sitting option 3. Staff is friendly with homely food preparation 4. Any order will take a while as the food is prepared fresh 5. The checkin was smooth with large and spacious beds and room with all basic amenities 6. They have sufficient open parking at the front 7. The checkin time is 2pm and checkout by 12pm 8. The wifi password sheet can be asked from the front desk as they have multiple options Only point is that the food is not served in the room, for all the food option you need to visit the restaurant only snacks can be served in room. Some where I felt this is the best decision as your room will be best and clean.
