A 2 night stay at this wonderful heritage hotel enjoying the comfortable property to ourselves. The interior decoration was atmospheric and a very special visual experience. All staff were courteous and helpful and the out of hotel trips we were taken on such delightful experiences in themselves. Sundowner sunset , Jeep safari, walking tours of the Haveli’s and Evening meal by a reservoir. Lal Singh our guide was friendly, professional and very knowledgeable. |All the delicious snacks and meals served were memorable. |A real gem of a hotel.

Stayed at the start of the holiday season and there was only one other couple staying too. Amazingly characterful heritage hotel actually a former dancing palace for the Haveli across the road. Wonderful welcome, staff very friendly and helpful. A great variety of trips were offered from here including a jeep safari with breakfast near a water tank, sundowners on the dunes and an evening meal on the dunes. The guided tour of Churu and its incredible frescoed Havelis by Lal Singh was one of the highlights of our Indian holiday. Lal was the best guide by far in our three weeks in Rajasthan. |Our room had a balcony overlooking the front and was authentically characterful rather than modern. Food in the evening was very good and extremely reasonably priced. A final touch on our departure included a snack bag and local gifts. |Locals were very friendly and we were invited into the local temple next door where a festival was going on.

What a super super hotel and find. Tucked away in the charming town of Churu, you are in for a treat. Wonderfully appointed rooms that are extremely comfortable. We are every meal at the hotel- we were so well looked after and the curry so simply superb. We also did the sundowner drinks, safari jeep tour and the desert meal. All of these were unforgettable and the experience will stay with us and our three children (aged 13, 10 and 7) for a while yet. However, e had come to see the magnificent Havelis and we had a FANTASTIC walking tour with Lal- this is something not to be missed. He showed us the back streets and culture that we otherwise would not have experienced. ||A massive thank you to the whole team- you are brilliant and we can’t wait to come back!

We stayed two nights. The trips organised were excellent particularly the walk around the havelis. We also did the sunset in the desert but unfortunately it was cloudy but still fun to do. The staff are so friendly. The rooms are adequate. We had a lovely stay.

Delightful place to stay. Staff could not have been more helpful. Food delicious and home made. Breakfast one of the best I have had on my travels in India, including fantastic cappucinos. Beautiful building in a charming town. And a real plus point is their inhouse guide My Lal Singh, who is incredibly knowledgeable about the local area and history and will take you on a personal tour.

Rajesh and his staff did everything possible to make our stay as memorable as it could be. ||We enjoyed sundowners on a dune in the desert and a breakfast picnic at an ancient water well. After that we went on a game drive to see antelope, deer, camels, falcons and a variety of other wild life.||In the afternoon the local guide - Lal Singh (ask him where he lives!) - took us on a walking tour of the largely disused Havelis around the old city of Churu. ||That evening we ate a delicious meal prepared over open fires at another ancient well site and relaxed with a glass of wine by candle light in the quiet of the desert. ||And compliments to the chef for the meals he prepared back at the hotel too.||A stay at the Haveli will give you an insight into local life and history that would be difficult to experience in any other way; a stay here is highly recommended!

Fantastic personalised service in beautiful hotel. Staff work really hard to make the stay memorable. The hotel is restored 1920s building with some rooms still with their elaborate painted decoration. Hotel organises lots of trips including a safari and dinner in the desert.
