Great location, great room and even the staff is good. But the cleanliness of the room unfortunately did not do justice to everything the place had to offer. The room was handed over to us in a hurry and we had to tell the staff many times to clean up. Swimming pool was closed so we cannot report anything about it. Our kid would have loved it if it was open.

The rooms at Hotel Garh Govind were spacious and had hot water available for bathing, which was a relief. The overall look and interiors of the hotel were nice, similar to other hotels in this price range. However, cleanliness was not up to the mark – there was visible dust on surfaces, and when I boiled water in the kettle, it turned white because the kettle wasn’t clean. The food was okay but I’d recommend ordering from Zomato or Swiggy instead. The service was okay, nothing exceptional but manageable. Overall, it wasn’t a bad experience, but there’s definitely room for improvement, especially in cleanliness. For the price range, it’s an average stay option

I visited it a group of 4 families and I liked it. It was amid the centre of patwa havelis are at walking distance. The food and was good. Pool is clean and worth visiting. We all get a great value for money. Worth every penny spent. Highly recommended with family and kids.

A special mention to the hotel staff, particularly Dilip Singh ji, whose honesty and professionalism left a lasting impression. After I realized I had forgotten my silver chain in the room, I called him, and his reassuring words, 'Sir, don’t worry, it’s safe,' truly eased my worries. He assured me I could collect it from the reception whenever I returned home. Hotel Garh Govind is not just about luxury and comfort; it’s about trust and unparalleled hospitality. Highly recommended for anyone visiting Jaisalmer.
