NillI had the displeasure of staying at this appalling excuse for a hotel recently, and it was an utter disaster from start to finish. The facade outside promised an experience akin to a cozy retreat, but once inside, it was clear that the facade was a facade itself. The lobby was reminiscent of a forgotten waiting room from the 1980s, complete with faded wallpaper and worn-out furniture. Upon entering my room, any hope for a decent stay vanished. The room was a pitiful excuse for accommodation. The carpets were stained, the walls seemed to have absorbed decades of neglect, and the musty smell was suffocating. The bed was a catastrophe—sheets that felt like sandpaper, a mattress that might as well have been a slab of concrete, and pillows that were so flat, they could barely be called pillows. The bathroom was an entirely different horror story. Cracks in the tiles, a sink that took eons to drain, and a shower that resembled a malfunctioning sprinkler system more than a means of hygiene. It was impossible to take a proper shower without creating a mini-flood in the bathroom. Forget about the promised amenities. There was no complimentary breakfast to speak of, and any mention of functional Wi-Fi or a TV in the room was a cruel joke. The absence of these basic amenities only added insult to injury. And the staff? They appeared as disinterested in their jobs as the hotel was in providing a decent experience. Requests for assistance were met with indifference, leaving me feeling like an inconvenience rather than a paying guest. the staff, their apathy and incompetence reached new heights. Requests for help or information were met with sighs and eye-rolls, as if I was inconveniencing them by daring to ask for the most basic assistance. In summary, this hotel was a haunting nightmare that made me question my sanity for even considering staying there. Save yourself the trauma and avoid this establishment at all costs.

NillNutella is located in a great spot close to the market and fort gate. A major reason to come to this hostel is the owner, Merav - he is amazing. First, he organized a lit jeep safari in the desert. Later, even after I checked out and left Nutella, he made sure that everything worked out for me. He truly does his best and does it with a smile. Awesome guy

Nillthe worst hotel anyone could ever stay at. I was here for over 4 days, attending a wedding nearby, and let me tell you, the overall stay couldn't have been worse. we had booked four rooms and two were literally stinking like there was a dead rat inside. they didn't come to clean the rooms even once without us having to literally beg them to do so. they wouldn't provide even water by themselves and even when we asked for it, they provided such bad water that I literally had to go to the doctor due to 'spoilt and contaminated water'. the lights were also fused, we asked to change them and yet they wouldn't do so. they didn't let us keep the lights on of the corridor either (literally so kanjuus). the list goes on and on, i could tell so many bad things that they did over our stay and it still wouldn't be enough. I'm not even get into the topic of cattering, as they didn't even provide us with morning tea/coffee/milk even though we were with kids and especially asked them to at least provide us that. even when we were checking out of the hotel, and begged them to help us take the luggages downstairs (as they were very heavy and we were all women and kids) they didn't help for so long. they even said they only help people who provide them with huge tips. let's not get into the topic of money, as they charged us with such huge rent and provided negligible facilities. to anyone who's reading the reviews in order to get a room at this hotel, please don't. this was the worst experience of my life. the worst hotel ever and the staff as well. the staff literally yelled at us while we were leaving.

NillBeautiful place, pocket friendly and great food. The hotel is very central and has a great selection of rooms to suit all. Western toilets, spacious rooms, room for yoga on the top floor and a great selection of food available. They also do camel safaris, and I went on one and it was great. An intimate night under the stars and I helped cook my breakfast and I enjoyed two camel rides. I can't say enough good things about this place, it's very pocket friendly, family run, spacious rooms and a nice place to eat, have fun, do yoga and camel safaris on a great budget. Il be back, thank u. Great service.

He himself arranged desert safari for me camel and jeep Safari really fantastic. We are going non touristic safari. He gives much value to hospitality than money. The room was very clean . restaurant a fort view. And importantly, roof top sun set point .it is very economical .I recommend this palace hotel to perfect stay.....

NillA nice hotel though I would advise backpackers to go for a hostel instead or another hotel. The staff were excellent, providing information about the area, and even giving me a free ride to the railway station late at night. The rooms themselves were ok, seemingly no AC,but a big fan and the sink didn’t work and the only mirror was outside of the bathroom, the only running water was with the shower and the toilet. Organized a desert safari, which was decent, away from the Sam desert and didn’t see many tourists. About 1500/ day so three days was 4500 rupees. Try to bargain for lower, this price was too high. The safari itself was good though, guide was nice, food was great. But buy any extras ( read beer) yourself before you leave. There is an English wine shop nearby. The manager here was an awesome guy along with Babu the safari man! They alone justify a strong score. The man who organized the tour was less so, keeping his son out of school to Shepard tourists around and was not polite or friendly. Verdict: working staff at hotel are excellent, the facilities could use work and safari was decent, if maybe a little high in price. Not a bad option if you’re looking.
