NillWe stayed at Hotel Helsinki House for two days, and it's a charming boutique hotel with a great ambience. The lighting, palace-like walls, and classy furniture give it a beautiful, traditional feel. However, there are a few downsides—there's no lift, no buffet option, and some bathroom fixtures weren’t working properly. The bed height was also too high, and unfortunately, my child fell and hurt his elbow. Despite these issues, the owner was decent and very accommodating, arranging a desert safari on short notice and even postponing it to suit our schedule. Overall, it's a decent hotel in Jaisalmer that won’t disappoint.

Nill1. Location: Away from main tourist places, in a quite narrow lane. Not easily accessible with car/autos. 2. Rooms: We stayed in room 18 and 19, super deluxe with jarokha. It had no ventilation, poor fragrance and water tap in bathroom kept falling with every touch. 3. Major disappointment was that there is no elevator. The restaurant is rooftop, and one need to climb 4 floors. Avoid if you are with child or aged people. 4. Food: breakfast is below average in quality, with very limited options. Overall we felt location, food and no elevator as major disappointment. It was overpriced, and one can find better options in better locations.

NillBeen to multiple cities (Domestic plus international) but I can say it with full confidence that this is by far THE BEST stay I had. Really helpful staff, willing to go over and beyond just to ensure you have a great stay and experience till the time you leave Jaisalmer. I’d highly recommend this place when you plan your visit to Jaisalmer. Great location, everything is within reach. Thanks for having us, had amazing time with top notch service. Special mention - Amazing roof setup where you can easily spend your early mornings or late evenings.

NillIt was a nice experience staying at Hotel Helsinki house. The rooms were spacious and well lit. The hosts are really kind people. And the food was also nice, freshly prepared every time. We enjoyed staying in Jaisalmer om their property.

NillAs soon as we got into the room, we noticed a weird smell in the room. We informed the front desk, they came and cleaned the bathroom again and sprayed some room freshener. Fine, we thought we'd manage as there was no other room available. It was all downhill from there. The food was really bad, there were lizards all over the restaurant which shows really bad hygiene and cherry on top - there were 3 huge lizards in our bathroom. Some people might be okay with that but I have a major phobia and this was totally unexpected. I understand that deserts have reptiles but I stayed with other hotels in Jaisalmer too and didn't face this issue.

NillThe experience at Hotel Helsinki as a family was fabulous. Maru Ji and his team was really helpful. The food was tasty. The rooms were spacious and beautiful. The location of the hotel was great. They arranged the vehicle for us to explore around the city and even took us to a famous bakery where we could buy Jaisalmer delicacies. Overall we had a wonderful experience and made lot of memories.

NillThe hotel is built in the haveli style and honestly it is quite aesthetic. The rooms are clean and quite spacious. They provide all required toiletries of biotique. The location is very near Jaisalmer fort and Gadisar lake. Although the only complaint about the location is that it is located in a narrow alley but we managed fine even with our big Innova car. We had a dinner and breakfast plan. No buffets but food was tasty and prepared within thirty minutes. The restaurant staff is very helpful. They even gave us a complimentary sweet dish on the last day called ghotua laddoo. They also have their own desert camp which has good reviews, although we did not stay in a dessert camp. But they can make arrangements if required. Bonus is the beautiful view of Jaisalmer fort from the terrace of the hotel.

NillOne awesome stay point in Jailsmer, visited this place in the office season and found it nice. It is located on the edge, next to it was an unending desert with a few trees. The morning view after rain look like heaven, usually I take pictures but this time I was lost watching the nature and sunrise multiple morning.
