JHANKAR HAVELI

We wanted to eat in that wonderful old haveli. 3 people in an empty restaurant. Two of us get their food with under average quality and high prices. One food was"forgotten" by more than five persons of staff. Best at last- the prices of the menu get higher on the bill by 10% service charge. Which service? Not recommended

We went into Jhankar Haveli to have lunch and, while we were there saw one of the wonderful rooms, which had a large balcony and what looked like a throne in the room's sitting area. I wondered for whom this impressive wooden chair was made! Although it was possible to dine on the roof top, we decided to eat downstairs in the large covered courtyard. The meal, a traditional village recipe, was beyond amazing: Ker Sangri (Soaked desert beans & berries cooked in tangy yoghurt with whole and powdered spices) with butter naan. Thank you Viky for the great recommendation, and Anil for showing the beautifully appointed traditional Haveli rooms with such enthusiasm. Jhankar Haveli was the highlight of our short visit to Jodhpur and we look forward to staying there on our return trip north.

Horrible food. Poor service. Only the roof view is good. Nothing else. Poor taste quality. They didn't have any arrangements at the roof top for the mosquitoes. No fans/ air coolers too. Overall not recommended.

Great food, really creative dishes, lovely venue. We were made to feel so welcome. Really good location, a calm relaxing place amidst the hustle and bustle.

Remote Location for all your reach. Rooms have heritage touch and ambiance is quite soothing with good music. Service needs to improve rest all you can enjoy 👍🏻

One of the best restoration property in city hub, Truly like Haveli, very well maintained clean room and service. All the staff were so humble and guiding us about our queries, Subhahbhai and Vikrambhai were so helpful. Must visit this if you want experience in city hub.

I recently dined at Jankar Haveli, and while the food was excellent, the service was exceptionally poor. We ordered for a group of 12, and it was a disaster. Many authentic dishes were unavailable, and the attendant who initially took our order messed it up completely. Several items didn't appear, and those that did were severely delayed. The person who took our order never returned, and someone else took over without any continuity. The food was not served promptly, and we had to repeatedly ask for water glasses, which should have been provided at the start of the meal. There were no napkins available either. We ordered Indian chapatis, but the count was incorrect since the new attendant wasn't noting any new orders. We also ordered rice and dal but only received two buckets of dal without any rice or chapatis. This added to our disappointment, as the service was already subpar. Such oversight is unacceptable, and it further emphasizes the need for better training and management at the restaurant. The food and ambiance were great, but the service and billing issues severely marred our dining experience. A restaurant like this should invest in training its staff. A fancy atmosphere alone does not make for an excellent dining experience. Staff need to have basic etiquette when serving customers. The food and ambiance were great, but the service was a dismal 1 out of 10.

We loved the cashew curry. Nice ambiance and friendly staff. It was quiet and cool which was much needed on our excursion.
