NillThe location is situated in the run down section of town. The rickshaw that brought us to our haveli told us this was a sketchy neighborhood, and said to let us know if we wanted to change our accommodations. This is also located fairly far from nice restaurants and the general attractions. Like popular alley ways, the entrance you can use for the fort and other attractions. I generally felt uneasy walking in the area day and evening. Only nice aspect is the rooftop view however this can be found in almost all accomodations. Sleep was what really brought this down for me. The blanket they gave us was rough almost like a old rag. The noise at night was dogs yelping, fire works and chanting it was impossible to get a good night sleep. The singing started around 4am and did not stop until I left the room around 8am. These sounds felt as if they were happening right next to you. Other complaints about the room was the towels were stained and rough, the toilet paper felt like sand paper and the bathroom had no ventilation. Service was fairly good, we had asked about laundry service and when we decided to get the laundry done the next day they told us prices that were double to the day before with no explanation.

NillWe had booked a 2 night stay at this property. First the good part, the staff is polite and helpful. That's the end of it. The place is situated in a very narrow dirty lane. So, if you are driving down and have your own vehicle then this place is just not for you. The property will make you park in a govt. Hospital parking and an auto will take you, which is a horror ride and the street keeps getting narrower and filthy as one approaches the property. The worst part is that we were told that parking is to be done at a paid parking, had I known it is in the hospital, I would have never booked it in the first place. Also, if you are travelling with your pet, then this is a strict NO NO as there are many strays in the street, it will be difficult to take the pet for it's routine. Coming to the room, the standard room had a foul smell the moment we entered the room and we wanted to immediatley move out of the property. But, we were given an option to upgrade the room which we took, off course on additional charges. The person told us that this is an old heritage haveli and little bit of such odour is expected which was a very laughable excuse. Just to add , in case you have a room at the roof, like we had, be prepared for your lungs to fall out during climbing up. The whole idea of roof top city view restaurant become more of a nightmare than a USP. Anyways, we just somehow managed to stay there for the night as we had reached late in the evening after a long drive through and checked out first thing in the morning with our holiday mood and program completely spoiled. Hence, can't really comment on the "every tourist attraction is nearby" and frankly don't care. Would have really appreciated if the property owner was more transparent about such basics, so that the person would know what he/she is signing up for.

NillBeautiful haveli in the central old city within walking distance to the fort. The room was worth the value for money but what makes the experience were the staff who provided great hospitality! Very helpful and humble people.

NillWhat a lovely Bohemian hotel! Sunil, the manager is wonderful. The rooms are great. We stayed in the deluxe rooms on the top floor. Restaurant was accommodating until late in the evening, with a variety of American/Indian fare.

NillGreat experience to stay here, beautiful haveli which has been in the owners family for 400 years. Very friendly staff, very clean rooms and common areas and a roof terrace with an amazing view of the fort. We got a free late checkout as well.

NillThe hotel is located in the middle of the old town and is per se a beautiful old Haveli. However some serious renovation and cleaning are necessary. Our room was full of decorations which were covered in thick layers of dust. This also led to a very sticky and dusty air within the room. The AC was extremly !!!! Loud. The bed sheets didn’t smell but they had several holes and the cushions beneath the sheets had dark spots. Well… The food we had for dinner and breakfast was very nice, the service was good but nothing exceptional. We would not stay here again. There’s better value for the money elsewhere.

NillWhen we booked this stay, we weren't sure how it'd turn out. But it exceeded all our expectations. The heritage haveli is almost as old as the highlight of the city (Mehran Fort) and is full of character. The rooms were just beautiful. It's at a walking distance from the palace and the local market, making it extremely convenient. The terrace gives you an unparalleled view of the palace, especially during sunrise and sunset, while you have some masala chai and enjoy the home-cooked meals. Sunil bhaiya ji took great care of us and arranged for things quickly. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and service. We're definitely staying here again and recommending it to our friends.
