Hotel Bharatpur Palace

I came for 2 nights and stayed 8! I absolutely loved this place! I was walking by the Ghat and saw this beautiful hotel from the outside. The location is the best! Right on the Ghat, the views are breathtaking! I was able to see lunar eclipse from the Balcony. The common areas are super! Super spacious and very safe! They close the acess at night, so only guest can enjoy it peacefully this view. Of course in the morning is busy, because is right on the Ghat, so locals are offering theirs prayers. But the energy of this place is so good that nothing bothered me. The hotel is a family business and they're super kind and always available to help! I came to Pushkar for a wedding and Meena help me so much to choose proper wedding gift, she helped me dress my saree, she even open the door of the hotel past midnight for me. She is super sweet and helpful! Her sister do amazing cooking class (SUPER RECOMMEND). I ask for special Ekadashi menu class, and it was very good and tasty food! They provide everything! Laundry service, massage, safari tours, cooking class, restaurant, yoga classes. Definitely one of the best places I ever stayed in India! My room was soooo good! No mold (something hard to find sometimes), it was super clean! Hot water available, 2 different types of lights in the room!!! (This rly makes a difference for me, because I enjoy yellow light at night), the room was so cozy I didn't wanted to leave! The bed was super comfortable and I will definitely come back here every time I am in Pushkar! Very authentic place to stay and reasonable price! Love it so much! 🩵💙🩵🙏

Power Cuts and piss street… but nice rooms|For 9€ per night rooms were actually nice except for the pungent smell in the bathroom, scaly water, no shampoo, very old used soaps, sheets which were stained and torn but resewn. The common areas are filthy and need a good power wash, you do not want to lounge on the deckchairs either because of the dirt or the hoards of monkeys. The rooftop looked nothing like the picture all furniture was removed and the restaurant closed. The only kept promise is the great view. However beware upon arrival of the public (no doors) bathroom which makes the entrance reek of urine all the way to your rooms. Non stop. Another note is the bells, it’s fine if you have come here for this but know that all the temples nearby have bells chiming at 5:30am for a solid 15 minutes. The other side of the lake is much quieter and cleaner. Another note is activity booking we booked yoga twice and twice it was cancelled at the last minute with no replacement of the instructor (which is nice when you’re up and ready at 6am). No other alternative provided just save yourself time and go to Sanatan yoga. And LASTLY how could anyone forget the relentless power cuts. The first night was blamed on the weather which was half true if the cuts had stopped after the rain but they were non stop for two days. Sometimes the AC sometimes the water or the lights and WiFi. See other comments mentioning this ! If management investments more in this hotel it could be really nice honestly but until then, if you can afford it, go somewhere else .

The place itself is nice, however the whole entrance and facility has such a strong scent of urine that it’s omnipresent. Hotel was empty still host supercharged us for a late checkout with no flexibility. Host will probably say this is not true, however guests complaint about the smell two years ago already and you can see yourself in the pictures attached.

It is 4 min walk from Brahma temple. Right in the middle of the market of old city. The best part is right on the lake shore. Rooms are clean and spacious. Hosts are really helpful and friendly. Perfect for a short 1-2 night trip.

The place has so much potential because of the location, but sadly, the owners haven't done it justice. There were constant power cuts throughout the night and day, even in good weather, leaving the otherwise nice rooms boiling. The water in the taps and showers smelt and felt stale. The entrance of the hotel has no security, so the rattley lock on your bedroom door is the only thing keeping strangers out. Also at the entrance is an open line of public urinals, so all you smell is piss (this can even be smelt in some of the rooms). We were told by our guide that the owners could easily pay a small amount to have the toilets moved so that this horrendous smell could be avoided, but they actively choose not to. Our guide also told us the management have a bad reputation in the town, which says a lot. The common area floors were unclean. The view of the lake was beautiful. The sheets in the bedrooms were not clean, and were clearly old as there were patched up holes. The towels however were really nice, as was the room decor - pretty quaint and cohesive. It was very loud in the rooms but thats just Pushkar, so not the fault of the hotel, and once you get used to it, its kinda nice - same with the many monkeys. The restaurant was never open. We booked yoga twice and were cancelled on both times with no solid reason - one of which was 5 mins before the yoga was meant to start, and they acted as if they were doing us a favour by telling us rather than us going and asking. Very disappointed in the management, or actually lack of management... Also they would intentionally come and switch off the bedroom lights from outside the rooms to 'save on electricity', but didn't tell us this, so we didn't know how to switch them back on, and when we complained, they were very rude and acted like we were dumb to not know about this very weird lighting situation. Also, to be clear, I don't write bad reviews for fun. I only write one when I really mean it.

The rooms are superbly good , with all RJ vibes with vibrant blues and white shades used ., the property is just adjacent to ghat.... The rooms are so cozy that u don't wish to leave the room.... The rooms have a superb view of mountains , ghat & temple too. The owners are also very carring and supporting..... The shopping street is also adjacent

The best part about this stay was how incredibly helpful Meena was for us. She gave us a lot of tips for navigating pushkar and walking the ghats and what to look out for and avoid. Her hospitality was incredible and everything she shared with us was so helpful and we are very grateful.||The hotel offers beautiful views of the lake that it seems you can’t get elsewhere from accomodation in pushkar and it was beautiful to have dinner and breakfast overlooking the lake and some day bed chairs set up throughout the hotel that overlook the lake is really lovely.||I think maybe it matters what room you get in this hotel. We were in room number 8 and it was noisy all throughout the night from both sides as the room has windows on both sides (we had them closed but still very noisy - it is right in the markets and right on the ghats so is not the fault of the hotel - I am just writing this so know what to expect). I’m sure ear plugs would fix the issue. It probably didn’t help that I was quite sick and couldn’t wear my ear plugs due to having ear aches. ||Overall this hotel offers seriously affordable pricing, you feel safe in the hotel (Meena warned off some people who were trying to take photos with myself & my husband just outside the hotel - seriously Meena is great!), the location is central so you can walk the markets from just outside your door which conveniently takes away the need for Tuktuks or drivers which can be more expensive in Pushkar than other places, it is right on the lake with the ghats that you can watch from the various viewpoints throughout the hotel offering a unique experience of observing without having to be in the action, having the restaurant upstairs is great and convenient with a a wonderful server up there too which is worthy of noting how wonderful his hospitality was.||We would come back however would advise of our needs for the room we’d need beforehand. I think there’s a good chance we just got unlucky and got one of the noisiest rooms due to it being positioned between both sides of the streets and also lake. It must be a different experience in other rooms given other reviews I’ve read about sound and sleep so maybe just enquire about this when booking!!!

We visited this hotel during the Pushkar fair so it was really busy in the city. Staff of the hotel was friendly and helpful. Bedroom is cute, bathroom a bit small, especially toilet area. Best feature of the hotel is the terrace. This has a great view over the lake. Food at the hotel was good. Location close to a shopping area.|Only negative is the public toilet in front of the hotel. Be careful were you walk!
