Kota Kunj Hotel

I stayed here for two nights and had a great time. Lake Market Temple are all close to this hotel. The staff and food were very good. Santosh cooked really well There is a great view sitting on top. As soon as you step out of the room, there is a very nicely decorated garden. All facilities are available inside the room. Hot water is available 24 hours and there is a comfortable bed stayed here for two nights and had a great time. Lake Market Temple are all close to thisGaurav and Gaurav's staff gave us a very good welcome and took care of us all the time and were very friendly.

Not a hotel. Three rooms in a heritage ruin, charging same prices as luxury hotels on other side of lake that have proper hotel facilities. If it’s all about Instagram and selfies, then you might think it’s great here, but the photos of this place are single shots of nice spots well taken to make it look like it’s an actual hotel. One of the rooms even has a stagnant bath pool inside it that makes it a mosquito and stagnant steam haven…. The prices for this place mean it’s a scam. At a quarter of the price it would be charming and a young traveller friendly place. But it’s charging luxury hotel rates. They offered to half the room rate in order to stop us leaving…. So prices are at a minimum double what they should be.

The heritage is directly situated on the lake. Location is just wow and it feels so homely. Great food with great view. The staff is so kind. Must visit if in pushkar.

We booked this Hotel after reading the reviews on Google. This is not a Hotel, it cannot be compared with a good homestay even. The room was stinky. Every here & there water is dropping from the ceiling. The room was full of lizards. There was no intercom in the room. The toilet was dirty. The food served was stale, we all got our stomach upset. The owner has published very attractive photos on the websites to attract tourists but reality is different. The owner is running this facility without any room service & house keeping facility. They have charged us Rs 3800 per night without breakfast for 3 person which is very high (no bill was provided) for this kind of Hotels (rather homestay). We felt cheated. There are many good Hotels available at Pushkar at lower rates. Hence please avoid this Hotel. Only good thing is the location & the behaviour of the staffs.

"Deluxe"-Room contains a big Bed for 2 People - nothing else. No Nightstand, no Cupboard, no anything. We paid about 45$ per 2 People/Night - Breakfast NOT included, which is too expensive for this kind of interior. Shower has no hot Water - you have to shower with a bucket if you want a warm shower. View over Pushkar Lake is stunning. Staff is very friendly. Pet-tortoise Midra+Midro: 5 Star! Its in the center of pushkar, so you can reach everything by foot within short time.

Beautiful heritage property run by charming kind family. Strictly vegetarian and no alcohol as you might expect in Pushkar. |Stunning views immediately over the lake and ghats with direct access. Wonderful views from some rooms on the lake side. Probably unique and very special. All the food although a limited menu was good ...if a little expensive.|Be warned it's cold in India winter. You need warm clothing after sundown.

We had a beautiful time at Kota Kunj with our stay split across two lake-facing rooms. The rooms were spacious and comfortable with breathtaking views. The family and extended staff who run the hotel are all so lovely and welcomed us like family - we treasured the time spent together. The proximity to the lake and serenity of the hotel garden (complete with two adorable tortoises) made for a rejuvenating and nourishing stay. Can’t wait to return to Kota Kunj - highly recommend :)
