★★★★The hotel is located in a side street a couple of blocks back from Sawhai Madhopur’s dusty main street . It’s less than 10 mins in an auto rickshaw from the railway station and 5 mins walk to the pick up for our tiger safari. (We booked through the national park but the hotel can also arrange) We were welcomed by the manager who spoke perfect English. He showed us to our first floor room which was a good size, nicely decorated and clean. It had ac, fan and a balcony. The shower had good pressure and hot water. There were two single beds pulled together with firm mattresses. We had breakfast in the rooftop restaurant which I thought was a little kid expensive, but the omelette we had was tasty enough. There was however an occasional gaseous smell on the roof which I suspected was coming from a vent from a septic tank. Another slight criticism is the acoustics in the hotel. The rooms are around a central internal atrium and sound seemed to echo though this could have been due to loud occupants of neighbouring rooms! There was also quite a lot of external night time noise- train horns, temple, livestock- the hotel is amongst residental properties so is to be expected. Budget hotels seem to be mainly along the main road though which is dusty and noisy so we were happy with our choice. I felt 2400r was a little expensive for the room and location by India standards but it’s modern, clean and comfortable and the front desk staff are friendly and helpful.

★★★★★We had a lovely stay at Tiger Haveli. The owners were very friendly and arranged all our game drives for us (two morning ones and two afternoon) even though we booked at short notice. We ended up seeing 6 tigers which was amazing! They also helped us with things like getting to ATMs, shops, and the train station. The room was very comfortable and although the hotel is a bit set back from the main road, they have set up lots of signs that make it easy to find. They also have a rooftop restaurant which serves good food at a reasonable price. Would highly recommend making this hotel your base for visiting Ranthambore.

★★The place seems nice, clean for the most part. However, I could only get Luke warm showers, they have a restaurant upstairs was ok but very pricey compared to little restaurant area 20 meters from the road. Make sure you shop around for safaris as they take a very sizable commission. The dad is great however, the son well let's says customer service is not him he is just looking out for how much of an atm you are.

NillExcellent location and impeccable service. Rooms are basic but clean - if you’re looking for a budget friendly affordable stay that is convenient for the tiger safari, this is your place! However do shop around for safaris as this hotel take a sizeable commission for any bookings through them.

NillWhat a hidden gem 🌟 off the Main Street so very quiet. Walking distance to numerous restaurants, atm and a couple shops t little groceries stores. Basic but CLEAN room (the best )we’ve had in our stay in India 🇮🇳! Front office manager , friendly and helpful- organised a driver, a blanket for the early Safari. Restaurant up stairs has wonderful food and fairly priced. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay here and highly recommend if you’re looking for a clean, basic room .

NillThe hotel is run by father and son and they’re really helpful. Like anything in Sawai madhopur, it fits its purpose but there are better options in town if you’re willing to spend a bit more. Bear in mind, you cannot pay with card, only cash. It is just a few minutes walking from the main road. They have an ok restaurant but you’ll find other options in town if you’re willing to walk for a few minutes.
