Heritage property with good food and a lake. The rooms are quite old designed but that's they way its designed. The birds around can sometimes make it difficult to sleep at night. Pool is too small for any activity. Takes an hour to reach from airport and no walkable shop or market is there.

Shikarbadi is hidden gem, preserved with all its glory. The place is calm, serene and yet has a touch of wilderness with all the birds, peacock, deers around giving a perfect blend of royalty in the nature. Staff is super courteous and service is spot on.

Very bad experience with rooms and service. The room i was given had broken hot water heater. After multiple calls the repair was done for temporary fix in an evening and broken again. Morning i had to take cold showers and had to spend hours instead of enjoying Udaipur sites.

This trip was quite disappointing though I have been visiting for almost 30 years. The management was not helpful in resolving issue of paint smell in the room.
