Service and staff is too good ... hotel location also good... nearby breakfast place is nice

I had a mixed experience during my stay at this hotel. The service provided by the staff was commendable, with a friendly and helpful attitude that made me feel welcome. However, I was slightly disappointed with the condition of the rooms and bathroom. The rooms appeared to be in average maintenance, and some areas showed signs of wear and tear. The bathroom, in particular, could use some improvement. Despite these shortcomings, the hotel's location was convenient, and the service quality stood out as a redeeming factor.

The service of this hotel is great. The staff is very cooperative and helpful. They are ready to help with the best possible amenities. Quality of rooms and washroom is average and not upto the mark of price range. There is no sound proofing done in the rooms. The washroom needs maintenance and cleanliness.

I was to visit Udaipur after almost 20 years and that too now with family. I was worried about our vegetarian food, comfortable stay with hygiene a prime importance and service without show-offs like in starred Hotels. Our private tour operator suggested a Hotel Named Hotel Suraj Palace. I tried to find the reviews about this hotel on trip advisor and found many of them were not digesting to me. I still kept my search for few weeks. Later it happened to speak with the owner of the Hotel Suraj Palace and don’t know why, but it made me feel comfortable to stay at his hotel. I decide to stay with my family at Hotel Suraj Palace during our Udaipur tour and it turned out to be one of the memorable stay. Staff of the hotel is very good and has no hypocrisy or tip oriented attitude. They served us like we feel at home. A staff Bhagwanbhai was very much care taking. Most important part was the food. Breakfast use to be excellent, but dinner was above that too. We use to make our request of Rajasthani food and they were all so kind that they were getting us our desired Rajasthani choices with delicious taste. ||One of the other fun we had was the fresh juice on a cart that was available from 5 AM on road opposite to the hotel. We enjoyed verities of fresh juices very well.||AC and Hot water availability were problems during our stay. Though we had to leave for tour at 9 AM, we had to take the shower early morning to get the hot water!||For a simple, but comfortable stay we prefer to stay with such Hotel like Suraj Palace.

It was staying in Hotel Suraj Palace. People are nice. Service is quick. However the location is not tourist friendly.. bit far from the city centre.

the hotel is nice and well managed although rooms are not that much spacious but rooms are clean. the rooms are cleaned on daily basis and the provide extra soaps and shampoo if needed. the breakfast provided was also good

Not recommend. Small rooms with small toilets. Restaurant not having options vegetables. In Complementary breakfast no fruits or juices. Extra charges for prathas. They don't clean the table. Location is also remote. May get much better rooms in this range.

The hotel is located 4 km from railway Station. It's conveniently located near various lakes. Hotel is flush with modern amenities like wifi and full ac room. Rooms are not so big but the staff is cooperative and this makes the stay comfortable and lovely.
