Disappointing Stay at Ramada by Wyndham Udaipur – Definitely Not a 5-Star Experience I recently stayed at the Ramada by Wyndham Udaipur, and it was a far cry from the luxury I was expecting. The hotel is advertised as a 5-star property, but after my stay, it became clear that it barely aligns with the standards of a 3-star hotel. Outdated Rooms and Bathrooms: The rooms were a major letdown. The furniture was old and worn, and the overall decor felt stuck in the past. It was clear that the rooms hadn't been updated in years. The bathrooms were even worse – dirty corners, cracked tiles, and fixtures that were outdated and in poor condition. The bathroom had a musty smell that lingered throughout my stay. Hot Tub Not Functional: One of the reasons I had chosen this property was for the hot tub, which was supposed to be a relaxing amenity. Unfortunately, it was out of order throughout my entire stay, with no clear timeline on when it would be fixed. Considering the hotel promotes itself as a luxury destination, this was a major disappointment. Misleading 5-Star Rating: The hotel’s advertising and website promise 5-star facilities, but the reality doesn't even come close. The rooms and amenities felt more in line with a 3-star establishment at best. The lack of upkeep and attention to detail made it difficult to justify the high price for what was essentially a mediocre experience. Positives: There were some redeeming qualities. The breakfast was quite good, with a wide variety of options ranging from traditional Indian dishes to continental fare. The hotel grounds were also attractive, with lush greenery and a nice, peaceful ambiance. However, these positives couldn’t outweigh the significant issues with the rooms and amenities. Overall, my experience was far below expectations. If you're looking for a genuine 5-star experience, I would suggest looking elsewhere. The Ramada by Wyndham Udaipur needs a serious update in terms of both its facilities and service to justify its 5-star claims. As it stands, it feels more like a 3-star property trying to pass itself off as something it's not. As a result of the above, I ended up moving my flight and leaving earlier than expected.

Our stay here was awesome! We will be back again! The service was amazing! Neha at the front office was super helpful! The room service food and the Myra restaurant for breakfast was delicious. The staff there were also excellent. We were able to visit Udaipur easily from here.

My stay at Ramada Udaipur was an excellent experience! The hotel boasts a perfect blend of luxury and traditional Rajasthani charm. The rooms were spacious, well-maintained, and offered breathtaking views of the Aravalli Hills. The staff was extremely courteous and attentive, ensuring every need was met promptly by LoveRaj from Reception and Pushpendra and team from housekeeping.The dining options were diverse, with delicious food, especially the authentic Rajasthani dishes. The serene ambiance, lush green landscapes, and well-kept facilities made it a truly memorable getaway. Highly recommended for a peaceful and luxurious stay in Udaipur!

Ramada Udaipur was a great experience all in all. We got an earlier check in and they were quite generous to upgrade our rooms. The property does give you great city views but it compensates with some really relaxing and calming vibes. The employees are warm and very accommodating. We had complimentary meals for our 7 month old baby. The kitchen would bring in food per instructions and so I am forever grateful. Their buffet spread is great and tastes yummy. They have something for everyone. Another sweet gesture of the hotel was cookies and chocolates during our stay as well as a souvenir. I highly recommend Ramada. It's a retreat and you'd feel like extending your stay ☺️ Thank you to the staff for taking care of our needs.

My wife and I had a wonderful stay at this hotel. It was quiet and relaxing, just what we needed. The room was very clean and breakfast each morning was fresh and tasty. The staff were friendly and made us feel welcome. Overall, it was a great experience, and we’d happily stay here again!

The bed was comfortable, offering a good night's sleep after a long day of travel. The hotel staff were friendly and accommodating, always willing to assist with any requests or local recommendations. I particularly appreciated the quick check-in and check-out process, which made my stay even more hassle-free. The on-site facilities were also a highlight. The fitness center was well-equipped, and the complimentary breakfast was a nice touch, offering a variety of hot and cold options to start the day off right. The location of the Ramada was ideal, situated near local attractions and major highways, making it easy to get around. Whether you're traveling for business or leisure, the hotel provides a solid base for your trip.

I was at the hotel for six nights for a wedding in November 2024. ||Pros: the hotel is very peaceful and the rooms are spacious, comfortable and clean. The junior staff is excellent and truly make a difference to the stay. I want to especially call out Shanta, Jackson and Amit at the breakfast restaurant for their attention and willingness to help. They were a part of the wait staff during the events and were always available with a smile. Shristi at the front desk was very responsive and a special thanks to Ashish for his help with luggage. Big thanks to the chef who was making the omelets - you made our mornings !||Cons: check in was very chaotic and there was a lot of confusion. I was also required to switch to another room on my last night because the hotel had overbooked. While the transition to the room was ok, it was an inconvenience because I was traveling with an elderly family member.
