SHAHPURA DEV PANACHE

Shahpura Dev Panache is a small boutique property with 3 floors and about 6 rooms on each floor. Some rooms are quite spacious while others are average in size, but overall the bathrooms are clean and fitted with modern facilities. The swimming pool is located on the ground floor near the reception, which makes it a bit uncomfortable to use, and it is only for adults. The location is good, with many restaurants nearby and easy availability of auto-rickshaws (though you must bargain with them). The staff is polite and helpful, and the hotel also provides free refillable RO water bottles, which is a nice touch. Currently, the rooftop restaurant is not operational, so you will need to explore nearby eateries for meals. One thing to keep in mind is that the checkout time is 10:00 AM, which is earlier than many other hotels, so plan accordingly. A suggestion for management would be to take care of minor maintenance work as needed to keep the property fresh and well-kept. Overall, it was a good experience and a comfortable stay.

If I could give zero stars, I absolutely would. The photos make this place look like a nice hotel, but the reality is completely opposite. The bathroom and bedroom were filthy and disgusting- definitely not maintained at even a basic level. The services are terrible, unprofessional, and completely unreliable. From the pictures, you’d think they have a decent restaurant, but in reality it’s in such a bad state that it’s permanently shut down. This place is a total scam; dirty, unhygienic, and misleading. Do not waste your money or time here.

If you want to visit udaipur with your family and friends never consider shahpura dev panache even in your last option...Front desk staff is indifferent, terrible, Unprofessional specially the lady sitting there and Raj Bhawani Singh... I booked 5 rooms there and We have 8 persons along with 2 little kids below 1 year. We reached hotel at 1.40 pm for check in, the lady ask to wait because rooms are not vacant (their check out time is 10:00 AM) they provide 3 rooms and told us ki 2 rooms k liye aapko wait karna padega.. Welcome drink to bhul jao pani tak nhi pucha inhone.. 3 baar bolne k baad ek gandi si used bisleri bottle m pani bhar kar laayi.. after a lot of bahas baaji the provide 5 rooms at 2.30 or 3.00 PM. Luggage rooms m provide karane ko baar baar bolna pada.. check out par luggage khud niche tak leker aaye. Night 10.30 drinking water and room slippers k liye bola to reception staff said ki half hrs lagega... Bhai kuva khod kar nikaloge kya paani. At the time of check out one of our family member is hospitalized and we request them to allow us to late check-out for one room only because of little kids... She denied and told us k aage bhi bookings h sir. (Bhai humko bhi to late room diya tha...tab nahi karwaya gya inse room provide). We literally spend that time at reception area with kids where no AC work.. ordered food for us they strictly told us OUT SIDE FOOD IS NOT ALLOWED tumhare restaurant ka poha 300 rs ka h. One more thing inka to restaurant bhi dusri building main hain... Breakfast lunch dinner not providing in same building you have to walk to another building SHAHPURA BARLIYAS HOUSE.. I wanted to write more but i think it is waste of time. Consider me , dont go with this Shahpura dev panache.

If you’re in Udaipur and thinking of booking @shahpurahotels, don’t. We have about 20 videos that could fool you into thinking this place is well-maintained—but here’s the truth: We found 10 baby cockroaches crawling around in the bathroom. That’s not just poor hygiene—it’s biohazard-level disgusting. Asked for room cleaning? The staff was so understanding, they simply flipped the bedsheets over in front of me instead of changing them. Why waste fresh linen, right? At reception, there’s a “special drink” offered to guests. You know what’s special about it? It’s been sitting there for a week. A literal breeding ground for germs. And when we requested a room change after all this mess, we were told, “We’ll get back to you soon.” That was at 11 PM. Spoiler: they didn’t. We had to go down ourselves and overheard staff calling the MD—his solution? “Just tell them there’s no vacant room.” Zero accountability. Zero hygiene. Zero respect for guests. One hotel I would never recommend to anyone staying in Udaipur.

Recently stayed here for the weekend, and safe to say, the stay was amazing, you can escape the outside heat and swim in their pool, although it was just that their pool timings were lowkey odd, as the whole day we were supposed to be outside but in the end we made it work and it was great. Service and the front desk were the sweetest people, so helpful and polite. I booked my room from Goibibo, so I got some additional discounts as well. 9/10 recommended.

Nice Ambience. Clean Spacious Rooms. Courteous and always helpful staff. Special mention at reception and breakfast restaurant ..Services are very Good ..Must recommend for each and every one visiting Udaipur .

Extremely disappointing stay. The hotel failed to meet even basic expectations — late check-in, unclean rooms, polluted white water, and very poor room service. The lift was under maintenance, food was bad and overpriced, and the room condition was nowhere near the standard promised. Would not recommend.

We may have been the one in a million but...There was no water running through the taps. It started for ten minutes and then it ran dry. Called the front desk probably 5+ times to tell them there was no water, but their English was limited so they could not understand me. They entered our room 5+ times to try to resolve the issue. Seems like the water problem was impacting and entire floor as our friends upstairs had no issues. Cold shower plus no water half way through soapy hair. 5.50am the next morning the alarm was ringing for ten minutes waking us up. Sounds insulation is limited, could hear people speaking in the streets.Positives were that the staff were trying their best to understand and resolve the issues, but due to the communication barrier, even though I said I want to change rooms, I don't think they understood me.
