Hotel Thamla Haveli (Budget Hotel in Udaipur)

The hotel might not look great from outside, but the rooms are good, clean and well furnished. It is at a great location in old city nearby Ambrai Ghat.Staff is friendly and tends to needs of the guests. Has a rooftop restaurant which serves decent food. Overall a value for money hotel when visiting Udaipur

The owner is very nice man and very accommodating. He considers your request based on your situation what ever is the best he will adjust I had been there before and I am.gping back there in December. Lakeview rooms are very nice and spacious and at 2500 per day per room it's a steal deal. Other rooms are comparatively small but with less cost it's manageable. Over all a great experience. Most recommended.

The overall experience in this hotel was lovely! The staff was helpful but the service was a bit delayed. The room view is worth every penny. I went off season so the price was a lil less but the rooms were very clean and spotless. The sunset from here is so mesmerizing with Aarti and birds chirping in the evening truly amazing stay at this budget.

It's in a very narrow street. There is no parking near the haweli. From 9AM to 9 PM there is no entry for cabs, so you have to stop your cab at a particular place and then take an auto to the haveli. There are 2 rooms on the ground floor. The rest of the rooms are on the top floors. The view from my window of lake Pichola at night was awesome. Service at the hotel is pathetic, horrible to say the least. I had asked for 2 bottles of mineral water and got a bottle of water with the seal broken. I asked them to replace it and also asked for dinner. I was told that the server would come to my room and take my order. Waited 30 mins and then went to a restaurant next door where I had the most delicious dinner. And got a few bottles of water. The toilet was clean. However there was no hygiene fawcet, or a mug, only a nozzle connected to the cistern. I opened the lid of the cistern and it was so dirty inside that I didn't use it. The room was spacious and fairly clean. The bed was comfortable and the sheets and blankets were all clean. TV was not working.

The stay was quite comfortable. Loved the vibes and lake facing view. The rooftop owes a perfect setup for a candle light dinner with delicious food. The services are okay. You can ask you're requirements and they will provide you with the best they could.

The only reason you would chose this place is because of it's stunning lake view at a reasonable price. Rooftop is awesome. Like you can literally dive into the lake. The service is average. They don't have CCTV and they asked me for money upfront which I found little rude. Non lake view rooms are small but comfortable. Switches are pretty confusing. Once again! The only reason you would choose is it's location right on the lake. The common area which you sit and listening to music, read book or enjoy the lake view. There is nothing else in the property.

It is not hotel it is homestay. Bed is not at all comfortable the rooms are not spacious. Room service was very poor. The view from Rooftop cafe is only a good thing. the taste of food is average. No value for money. Transportation from here is bit difficult if you planning to travel by local transport services or ola uber. Would suggest to rent a bike.

Today we have taken dinner at dagla restaurent at Thamla haveli, we orderder many items insted of veg pulav what they gives khichdi cooked in pressure cooker with chepaest quality of rice kanki, charged fourty ruppes for per chapati which was in very bad in taste, mix veg was not up to mark still can't understand what theey serve, over all very poor experience of food, we don't suggest any body for food
