The rooms are very spacious and has good sunlight. The TV had channels which is something we don't find everywhere. The view was great. The hotel has a rooftop bar which has a great view of the city. The breakfast was good as well with good options and great taste.

The rooms are good ambient and comfortable. Only food needs to be checked as some of the items are half cooked like rice , poha , paneer paratha. It caused food poisoning to fee of my colleagues. Food can be given a miss while live counters food like dosa etc are good and fresh|Rest is good.

Pride Hotel Udaipur, Rajasthan India, should change his name because there’s nothing to be proud about. My sister, who is also a physician, and I booked a Suite on November 2, 2024 for one night. I will break this down to each major issue. ||Room issues||1. AC not working||2. Bathroom Door not closing||3. Bathroom hot as a sauna no airflow. ||4. Dirty Bedding ||5. Lights going off and on spontaneously.||6. Uncomfortable Bed.||||||Food issues||1. Staff brought out food that was not ordered when restaurant was empty of other patrons. ||2. Ordered potato subji and was given cauliflower. Took the chef to come out to get the order correct and his subji was good.||3. Each and every item on the breakfast buffet was bland and without any flavor.||4. Restaraunt and hallways smell like fish which is bothersome to vegetarians. ||||Courtesy||1. Front desk manager took two calls to come to room due to multiple issues. When the room was changed it was late at night. ||2. Maintenance staff was good. ||3. Housekeeping took 1||hour to bring stained bedding to the room which was not changed for another hour. ||||||Disrespect.||||1. When asked about discount for the multiple issues that took hours to resolve, we were offered a 20% discount on our 300INR food bill. ||2. Discussed issues with Debashish the manager about the multiple issues and he was dismissive and rude. On mentioning the bed was not comfortable, he became upset and said “I have the best mattress in the world. They are 11 inches thick with a topper. You don’t know what you are talking about.”. He just went on to overtalk me and my brother in law. ||The reason this hotel is horrible is that the manager is the problem. Never been this||disrespected by a hotel manager in my life. Ridiculous that instead of listening and taking this as a learning experience, he started to yell at me. Being a Medical Director for large organizations in the USA and on many state and national committees, I deal with the general public and would never treat any complaint wirh disrespect or condensation. I have traveled the world for medical conferences and believe me, this is not the best mattress in the world. It is amazing that the only thing he cared about was my comment on the mattress. I don’t know if he thought he was going to scare or harass me as he probably does with his staff. The sheer arrogance of his condescending and disrespectful manner was what you would expect from a morally reprehensible derelict. This manager, Debashish, should be fired immediately as he should never be able to drive an organization into the ground. He would not know customer service if it hit him in the face. MY advice is to keep your Pride intact and never step||foot in the Pride hotel.

Pride Hotel Udaipur, Rajasthan India, is clearly misnamed since during my recent stay, multiple departments did not exemplify pride. My brother, a fellow US physician, and I booked a Suite on November 2, 2024 for one night. This is what we encountered.||Room issues||1. AC units not working in either areas of the room||2. Bathroom door did not close||3. Bathroom hot as a sauna with no airflow ||4. Brown-stained bedding||5. Lights turning off and on spontaneously ||6. Uncomfortable mattress and sofa (which I was sleeping on)||Food issues||1. Staff brought out food that we did not order and then brought out our ordered food incorrectly. This occurred when the restaurant was empty of other patrons. ||2. Each and every item on the breakfast buffet was bland and without any flavor. The poori was cold and rubbery.||3. Restaraunt and hallways smell like fish, which is highly bothersome as vegetarians||||Courtesy||1. Front desk manager took two calls to come to our room due to multiple issues. When the room was changed at 10:15 at night, they failed to bring our requested bedding and we needed to call them to remind them||2. Maintenance staff was good. ||||Disrespect.||1. When asked about a discount for the multiple issues that took hours to resolve, we were offered a 20% discount on our 300INR food bill. ||2. My brother discussed the problems we encountered directly with Debashish, the manager. On mentioning that the bed was not comfortable, he became upset and said “I have the best mattress in the world. They are 11 inches thick with a topper. You don’t know what you are talking about.”. He was rude, obnoxious, and condescending. We are world travelers and we have never encountered this level of disrespect from any hotel manager. He made no effort to apologize or even acknowledge our concerns. He actually yelled at my brother, which was utterly shocking to us. ||The reason this hotel is horrible is that the manager doesn't care about his guests. He has no pride in this hotel or it's success. This manager, Debashish, should be fired immediately if you want to salvage this establishment. He does not understand his role in the customer service industry. The fish rots from the head and Debashish is the head. 1 star out of 5. Would not recommend this hotel unless under new management.

Beware: No Pride in The Pride Hotel, Udaipur Our stay at The Pride Hotel in Udaipur on November 2, 2024, was an absolute disappointment. My sister, a fellow physician, and I booked a suite expecting a comfortable experience but were met with a series of unacceptable issues. Room Disasters: The AC was not working, the bathroom door wouldn't close, and the bathroom felt like a sauna with no airflow. Bedding was dirty, lights flickered on and off, and the bed was extremely uncomfortable. Food Fiasco: The staff brought out incorrect orders, and the breakfast buffet was utterly bland. The pervasive fish smell in the restaurant and hallways is intolerable, especially for vegetarians. Service Shortcomings: The front desk manager took two calls to respond to room issues, changing our room late at night. Housekeeping was slow, taking over an hour to replace stained bedding. Unbelievably Disrespectful Management: When asked for a discount due to the myriad issues, we were insultingly offered a mere 20% off a ₹300 food bill. General Manager Debashish was dismissive and rude, even claiming their mattresses were the "best in the world." His condescending and arrogant attitude was beyond belief and utterly disrespectful. The root of this hotel's problems lies in its management. If The Pride Hotel wishes to salvage its reputation, the manager, Debashish, should be terminated immediately. His behavior is unacceptable and detrimental to the establishment's success. I strongly urge you to avoid The Pride Hotel until substantial changes are made. Keep your own pride intact and choose another place to stay.
