Hotel North Star

Great for Jains/ Vegetarians, with a Few Minor Issues I stayed at this hotel in March end and overall had a pleasant experience. As a Jain, I was looking for a good vegetarian place and was happy to find this one, run by Mr. Nikhil Doshi, a fellow Jain. He was very humble and kind, which added a personal touch to the stay. The staff were polite, responsive, and the service was quick. After checking out two rooms, I was able to get a nice one with a lovely sunrise view and lift access. The location is central right in the heart of Udaipur and ideal for exploring the city. I also felt very safe as a solo woman traveler, and there’s a Jain Mandir nearby, which was a plus. There were a few minor issues though: the jet spray holder in the bathroom was broken, the mirror had some stains, and the pillow covers weren't up to the mark initially. But to their credit, the staff changed them promptly when I requested.

From outside it looks good. But inside the room and bathroom are not clean. We ask them for cleaning but they didn't even clean the bathroom. Low Hygiene maintenance by them

Went here for a family trip. Rooms were good and beautiful view. It is 10 mins from Udaipur Railway station. We booked two rooms. One was clean and other was not. Asked them to clean. Service is good. Hotel have lift and restaurant on top floor. Reasonable price. We booked a room for 1500 per night. They also arranged auto service to explore tourist places.

Rooms were good and spacious. Service was pathetic, may be because we refused to take their scooty rentals. It’s all judgemental uncles sitting in the reception lobby, who gets offended if we ask for anything. 1.8k per night, overpriced!!!

I have stayed in this hotel twice and I really liked it. I couldn't observe any major con. The pros are as follows : 1. Cost effective, keeping in mind the facilities and services offered 2. Quick service 3. Polite staff 4. They allowed decoration also for my marriage anniversary 5. Cleanliness and interior is good 6. Location is great! Very near to Udaipole bus stand and railway station

Food quality not good at all, service also worst one. Have to call twice for towel, even for hot water have to request them twice to thrice. Room cost is 6k per day, in return the service look a like dharmshala. Not a good rooms, no extra services are there. Not recommended to anyone, still going to stay 2 days here, if able to find any good point then increase the star or will select 1.
