Boutique Hotel

The stay was good . The hotel is having a decent and artistic interior. The room in which I stayed was spacious and with a balcony which gave the view of the mountains. Very near to MG MARG and with good availability of vehicles as it is near to one of the big taxi stand. So my overall experience was good.

If there was an option to give less than one star I would rate this hotel that. These guys are plain cheats. After we checked into the rooms with family, 3 hours later they wanted us to move to basement rooms. They said that the rooms we were in was already booked with someone with same first names. They charged us extra 4000 rupees for the room. Avoid this place!!

A bit difficult to locate - it is located directly behind the Police station. Not great views from the rooms. Service is a bit sloppy. Breakfast buffet menu limited. Sockets were not working in the room. No room heaters. However, helpful staff. Can arrange for local sightseeing and Nathula visit in a limited amount of time. Located close to MG Road.

Seems no senior supervision. All young people mismanaging a nice property. Partying at night, talking loudly at all times. Poor breakfast arrangement, door not locking, no mirror in room. So many negatives. Not value for money. We stayed for 2 days - Diwali day & after.

Worst service u can get at a hotel. Took around 1.5 hrs for check in process. Asked for water bottle at 9 pm took them 11hrs to remember I had asked fr water, got the bottle at 8am. Der was no water supply in washroom early morning, had to personally go and ask them to start the water supply. No1 was available at reception all night. Der r endless reasons why I would not recommend any 1 to go to this place

Booked a delux room through Goibibo but I must say I am hugely disappointed with the quality of room and amenities. Bed sheet torn and unclean. Pillow cover still has hand mark in semi-red, I believe it's due to some romantic moment between couples. Was not expecting such services from Goibibo and hotel at the price paid. More than that the view is not good as it is blocked by nearby buildings. Hugely disappointed.

Very comfortable stay, everything clean and friendly staff. Rooms are spacious and location is awesome. Connectivity wise mg marg and various shopping areas are at walkable distance and getting a cab to go anywhere is really easy.

The Magpie Hotel is placed close to the Rumtek Taxi stand and also walking distance from Lalbazaar and MG Road.Hotel is 36 km away from Tsongmo Lake, 6 km way from Banjhakri Fall and 3 km away from Enchey Monastery. This property can be reached from Gangtok Helipad which is 5 km away and local bus stop which is just a kilometre away. The rooms are spacious and beautifully decorated which ensure guests a comfortable stay. Each room has attached bathroom with essential toiletries and regular supply of hot and cold water. The property ensures that all needs of guests are fulfilled timely. Staff are helpful and conscientious. It offers facilities like front desk for assistance, room service. Guest can enjoy various delicacies from its in-house restaurant. serving Indian, Tandoor and Chinese cuisine. Guests can also avail the efficient room service from 7am to 10pm. The best place to stay in Gangtok. Loved the ambience,hospitality and their food. Looking forward to stay here again
