Garden Retreat Hotel

At first i thought it’s new construction so might be better people. But since i walked in every time i need service they are not available there is no drinking water available in room no Wifi available no tv available. There is no elevator we were given top floor. There is no water service in bathroom i tried calling them but no response. So we have to go all the way down to just let them know we don't have water to drink and no water in bathroom. I would not recommend anyone this hotel for stay. I have worked in hotel business before this is not kind of service should be provided. And I had to spend 3 nights here i wish i knew and would not have paid before i was getting home stay for same price by local guide with balcony kitchen and all.Please call them talk to them before you book your stay. This is the most genuine review ever given by a guest. 1) Worst location- The booking staffs will misguide you by saying that its nearby MG Marg. Trust me, its not.Not even share cabs are available, you have to take reserve which is costly. I have even attached the picture of just the adjacent building to hotel which had collapsed!!!!! 2) Parking Lot- I have attached the picture of its parking lot.Its like hell. While booking, we asked the staff as we were carryingour own bike and needed parking space. They gave false assurance. 3) Hospitality and Service- Purnendu Khastagir, the reception manager is an utterly nosy person . He is extremely unprofessional and expects guest to respond to his stupid questions. Service is too poor, proper bathing kit was absent, when asked for shampoo they said its in the room whereas it wasn't.Very low maintained and poor staff quality hotel. We had 2 day stay and they took the entire money on the 1st day only as they know guest would relocate to some other hotel because of their pathetic condition. DON'T BOOK YOUR STAY AT THIS HOTEL EVEN IF THEY OFFER A CHEAP PRICE. My recommendation would be to book a decent or cheaper hotel nearby MG Marg.

Garden Retreat Hotel does not have Wi-Fi facility. WiFi does not work on the ground floor or its floors. There is a foul smell in the hotel rooms, or there is a foul smell in the dining room or reception or corridor. Or the beds and bedsheets of the rooms are not cleans. The services are good, food are good in taste also. In the hotel rooms there are spider webs the rooms are not clean.

Panthetic Experiance! |We travelled with 2 year old kids amd they provided us rooms on 5th floor. We tried much to get on lower floors as there is no lift service but they denied and told us to talk with service provide and head office in Kolkata.|Expect food and Service nothing is good. |Not Recommended at all.

I booked 2 Super Deluxe Room after searching over Google Maps. The hotel is at a prime location, we had a very peaceful stay. The dinner and breakfast was served beautifully and the taste was good. The uncle at reception was very friendly and professional.
