Treebo Trend Maitreya Zimkhang

Awesome place to stay - calm and serene. The furniture is new, the beds are super comfy, the toilets are clean. Plus, the owner and staff are friendly and super helpful. Also, if you want local delicacies, you can inform the owner and he can arrange it for you. The dining area is super clean and there’s a lot of good wood work all around the hotel. We stayed there for 3 nights and had a great time.

The service is great, the owner is very friendly and will tell you all the off beat places to see in the area. The food is great, and the rooms and bathrooms are clean. 10/10 would recommend again for friends, couples, families alike. The hotel is perfectly situated near the main areas, but secluded enough that it's private and like a secret getaway.||One of the best hotels in Gangtok, it's totally a hidden gem.

Maitreya Zimkhang is by far one of the best places to stay at in Gangtok, Lekden's warmth and attention to detail are surely unique to this hotel and his Gangtok roots come handy when one needs recommendations, especially ones centred around food. The staff, Bikash especially, were absolute sweethearts and their persistence to ensure that all our needs were met, impeccable. ||||The stay itself was great for travelers, we stayed in a double room and it was subtly beautiful (loved the bedside lamps and wooden window frames). Make sure you get the T-momos at their restaurant!||||Sincerely hope we get to visit again, look no further for accomodation in Gangtok, this is everything you'd need.

Staff is really very helpfull and kind .place is comfortable and quiet and very non disturbing. Food was full of glavour. Rooms are clean and give a homely feeling. I want to come here again and again.photos above are view from my hotel room. Hotel is much beautiful. View from the hotel room are mesmerizing in the night. Do come here and enjoy.

Experience in this property is very bad, insects in rooms. 1. Owner doesnt know how to greet customers, meet me eating gutka when i arrive. 2. He dont know what actually buffet is. ( If you asked for buffet breakfast or dinner you dont have any option for meal and it doesnt include curd and sweet dish...lol) 3. If you ask any thing for, he will directly say this we have and if you need anything than ask your travel agent. These words used by the current hotel owner which is from BIHAR. I think if this hotel run by the local gangtok resident than it would be better as the local people know how to give respect. Anything you wanna know about the matter do reply with your number i will call back.

Loved the rooms and the hospitality! Will be staying there whenever I am in Gangtok! The location is very convenient and the owner is proactive and responds instantly. One of best things was the food. As a vegan, I could get homely vegan food.

They serve an authentic sikkimese breakfast. Rooms are clean and staffs are humble. The highlight of this trip was the owner. He helped a lot and guided us throughout the trip. He took.out his personal time to show us the traditions of Sikkim. Thanks Lekden for being such an awesome host.
