Hotel 100 Petals - Gangtok 12 mins from MG Marg

We booked a hotel room with a valley view but were given a room with no view at all. They claimed that the photos online are outdated by nine years and that they don’t have any valley view rooms available. After a lot of back and forth, they finally provided us with a room that had a valley view, but the experience was beyond frustrating. To make matters worse, the bed sheets and blankets were dirty, as shown in the attached photo. When we complained, they changed the sheets, but when we asked for a clean blanket, the staff was unbelievably rude. They insisted they had no other blankets and claimed that this is standard practice in all hotels. Apparently, if a blanket cover has a stain, that's just how it is; they won’t replace it. We are three girls feeling completely uncomfortable. After some heated arguments, the hotel staff suggested our only option was to leave the hotel at 11:30 PM—almost midnight! We’re freezing and catching colds while they sleep soundly, completely unresponsive to our situation. It’s outrageous and unacceptable!

My 5th time staying at 100 petals. Feels more like a home away from home. From the courteous staff to the excellent rooms, everything is worth every penny. Not just the stay, you even get the best assistance when it comes to planning your trip beyond gangtok.

Spacious rooms with balcony and breathtaking views. Rooms are clean and neat. Amazing stay, amazing staff and amazing owner as well. Special thanks to Sandesh who was available all the time from morning to night irrespective of his duty. Never seen the owner who himself made us comfortable to the extent that he played karaoke and guitar to make the evening special 🎶 Food is amazing, overall good budget stay and five star service 👍

The staff members here were very friendly and helpful, meeting all our demands efficiently withoutany delay. The view from the balcony was truly breathtaking- one of the highlightsof our stay. The best part according to me was their food. It was delicious without a doubt. Overall it was a great stay and I would definitely recommend others as well.

Firstly, the hotel is no where near the MG Marg. It is almost 5 kms away from the city, so you need to use taxis to get into the city or get around. Secondly, the entire road is under construction right in front of the hotel making it absolutely inaccessible. We had to walk almost 800mts to 1 km everytime we were leaving the hotel or getting back. These inconveniences aside, the hotel staff were very very helpful and courteous. They made us feel at home. Room is very clean and spacious. Great view. Beautiful garden area with outdoor seating. If you are travelling solo or as a couple, this is a lovely stay. Since we travelled with our 8 YO, especially walking to the hotel in pitch dark felt really scary and unsafe. Hopefully the road renovation is completed soon.

I recently stayed at the 100 petals and had a fantastic experience. The rooms were clean, and comfortable, with all the amenities I needed. The staff were exceptionally friendly specially sandesh and went out of their way to make sure I had a pleasant stay. The location was perfect, close to major attractions and dining options. I particularly enjoyed the complimentary breakfast and the cozy lounge area. Overall, 100 petals offers great value for the price, and I would definitely recommend it to anyone visiting the area.

The rooms are exceptionally clean and luxurious, providing a comfortable stay. The staff is attentive and always ready to assist when needed. Overall, it's a great place to stay.
