Five Gangtok

This is a small, cozy hotel near the Sikkim Manipal Medical University , walking 7-8 min , so parents of medical students would find it suitable . The room size and bathroom size is very big and service is good. They provide a room heater without any extra cost. Bed is comfortable and extra large . Breakfast was good and it has another Taiki restaurant, which is rated well by the doctors . Value for money . Good stay at lesser price .

I did select this property for two things, firstly it was near to my work site n secondly good reviews online. Well I am happy that I did, rooms are quite spacious and neat! Value for money I would say. Food is excellent and so are the staffs. Since it was off season there were not to many guests in the hotel, so breakfast menu was limited. But lunch and dinner was delicious. Kuddos to tue chef of Attic . They have an oriental restaurant too and it was mind blowing.

Had an amazing time. The stay in Hotel FIVE was grand. The service and behaviour of the staff was very courteous, warm and ever ever smiling.|The ambience of the hotel is great. Rooms are spacious and the restaurant's, specially The Attic and Japanese are very nicely decorated.|The food is great. I strongly recommend this hotel for a safe, warm and comfortable stay.

Extremely Disappointing Stay — Not Recommended My recent stay at Five Gangtok was very disappointing. The room quality was poor, with no proper amenities and no staff support. There was no one at the reception to assist guests. During breakfast, we were told there’s no buffet option and could either order in-room or dine in the restaurant. We placed our order at 8:00 AM, but nothing was served even by 9:15 AM. We had to check out without breakfast. Such service standards raise serious concerns about guest care. The hotel is also located far from Gangtok city. Would not recommend staying here.

From check-in to check-out, our experience at The Five Gangtok was flawless. The team was friendly, helpful, and professional throughout our stay. They even helped us plan a local sightseeing itinerary! The rooms were clean, cozy, and nicely furnished. The hotel has a calm and inviting vibe, making it ideal for both solo travelers and families. We felt truly looked after and appreciated the small gestures by the staff. Would definitely return and recommend to all Gangtok visitors!

This boutique hotel exceeded expectations. The interiors are tastefully done and the staff is incredibly welcoming. Breakfast was delicious and filling. Would recommend The Five Gangtok to anyone looking for a stylish and peaceful stay.
