Delight The Touristo

We had gone through a tour company so they had booked rooms for us. Had we booked personally we would not have booked because the room was small and dusty . Bathroom WC and washbasin was old and stained . I got eye allergy due to the dust in the blanket . No room heater was provided . Hot water kettle was provided but had to connect the kettle to the electricity point near the foot of bed . the hotel manager and staff were helpful and humble . I think some rooms were big in size and clean toilets with new WC and washbasin . But our rooms were upstairs from the reception area and needs refurbishment .

we have stayed for one night. hospitality is very good. Hotel manager is very cooperative. Homely made food for us and food taste is awesome. really have a pleasant stay. Very nice and clear view of Kanchanjangha peak. Really enjoyed

I have visited this hotel twice, but there was a difference in service and maintenance. Last time I had loved this hotel, so chose to stay here again, but the room maintenance quality has degraded. The rooms smells of cockroach repellent so strongly that we had to ask them to spray room freshener for 3 times. apart from maintenance, the rooms are good, beds are clean and nice, view is ok ok, food was a bit of issue tastewise. the major issue is this hotel does not have a lift. and we needed to climb down 3 floors to reach the restaurant.

I place is good..and quite reasonable..from balcony u can see the kanchanjunga mountain.. There is a small feild at back of hotel, where u can do any kind of activities.

We stayed at this hotel during the Pelling leg of our trip. The views were mediocre at best, as new buildings are under construction, so most of what you see are bamboo scaffolding and half-finished structures. While that was tolerable, the service was absolutely terrible. We were traveling with kids and stayed for two days. We ordered dinner at 6 PM but didn’t receive it until 11:30 PM both days after following up multiple times. The staff kept giving ridiculous excuses—saying they were busy preparing food for other guests, there was a landslide two days ago, and so on. To make matters worse, there were only two staff members, and one of them smelled strongly of alcohol when i was talking to him for the delay in dinner. Luckily, our tour guide was helpful and stepped in to assist, but I strongly advise against booking this hotel on your own. You’ll regret it.

I booked the hotel first time in 2018 when I went there with my friends. From the fantastic experience of my first visit, I again booked the hotel for the tour with my aged family members in 2024. And this time too I am extremely satisfied with the cleanliness, behaviour, delicious food and service. The hotel management is so very helpful and strong that the hotel seemed to be my second home. I am a crazy travelers and I stayed at many hotels but I can gladly say that this is the best till now. If anyone reads my review I can assure him/her that this property will never give you a chance to complaint against anything.. Just go for it..

This is a Group of Fortuna hotel. We had stayed in other hotels of the same group. Every hotel was pretty good, neat and clean. But when we came to Delight the Touristo, we were disappointed. Hotel rooms are very small difficult to move around in the room. Beds are not clean. Dining are is very badly maintained. It’s not clean even the plates we had to wash it again before using. The staff in this hotel is very less. There are only 2 people, they helped us in getting what ever we wanted. Staff was cooperative. The hotel needs a complete makeover, it’s quite old and not satisfied with amenities what they have. The hotel was booked by NE-Taxi. I request NE-taxi to make sure hotel is in good condition and hygiene before offering to customers.

I had a wonderful experience at delight the touristo group. The food service is outstanding, with diverse menu beautifully prepared dishes. The rooms were stylish and clean. The staff were great, offering warm hospitality. Highly recommend for everyone seeking a luxurious stay.
