Hotel Silver Fir

My experience is very bad, hotel charged me 2000 for 1 night stay but room size is very small and room quality is very bad. We had dinner outside and informed them but got no response from them that dinner is complimentary with the room. The hotel manager was telling us during checkout that the dinner was complimentary but we booked the hotel 6 months in advance, and he never informed us. For breakfast we suggest puri and sabzi but they make their own choice (maggi fries). Based on the condition of the hotel room and the behavior of the staff I would never recommend staying. Very bad experience.

This is the one of the best hotel in ravangla. This is just in front of SBI, ravangla. You can access anything from here. Just 2km away from Buddha park. Rooms are very cozy and clean .. hot water is running . We had only dinner and breakfast here . The food was perfect. They are very humble and well behaved. If you have a bike you can park in front of the hotel. And the view was amazing from the hotel room and balcony.. also you can slightly get the view of the Kanchanjunga range..

I stayed there September 2024. They told this is off-season. Few comments about this hotel: About room: Room are not so clean. There is a bad, damped smell inside the room. Lights are insufficient inside the room, there is only one light which is not enough. About Bathroom: The windows are not properly closed. Water is always leaking from the taps. Geyser is for show only. No instant hot water. If you need hot water you have to request them. About bed: Not comfortable at all. The mattress are very old, one side down another side up. Bad smell from the blankets and also not clean at all. About room service: No room service. The person who (named by Suman Mazumder) was there, very arrogant in nature. When I asked for room freshner and extra blanket he got irritated. About food: The food are not upto mark. They charges vey over priced. Please not to take food from them. There are many hotels available for fooding. RO water is not available in the hotel.

Today me and my friends stayed in this hotel. The food I good and location is also good on the main road sides from where market and taxi stands in front of it. Peoples who look The rooms a budget friendly rooms it's perfect for them. The hotel staffs behaviour are politely to guest and very helpful...

Rooms are substandard for the price they charge. Rooms have poor lighting and are damp and wet. Geyser in bathroom did work, but taps were leaking water and making everything more damp. Food isn't any good either. The location is good, it's right near the Jeep stands.

It is situated in a prime location at the nain chawak adjacent to SBI Ravangla and police station Ravangla. The building is primitive and wooden make.service and food quality is not great. Hotel may provide site seeing facilities. Kanchanzanga is visible from hotel lawn

Rooms are dirty. Space is insufficient for a average height person to sleep in bed as my legs were out of the bed while I slept in bed at night. Light is even insufficient as there was only one light. Bathroom window is not properly closed. Blankets are very much dirty and very much smelly and it seems blankets were not cleaned for last one year. There is no one for room service. Food quality is very poor. We were served cold tea from this hotel and the person serving tea was not eager to serve it in proper cup as it was served in a paper cup.

Stayed there for 1 day. Service is very good and they are constantly trying to make it better. And every people (literally everybody) are trying their best to make our toor a good one. Food is homely and it's in one word -awesome , they will make you feel at home. I hope you will also feel same and before leaving tell them about their problems or their good things so that they can work on them..
