Karthok homestay

I cannot say enough beautiful things about Karthok homestay. Sangay Doma , ND, and Tsering truly make you feel like family. They prepare delicious mouth watering home cooked traditional dishes like dry kawri, organic pumpkin and fresh local mustard greens. The rooms are cozy and immaculate and the geyser shower is hot to your liking. They have a lovely little garden and raised wooden terrace to relax in nature. I fully recommend this homestay without reservation. I hope you enjoy it as much as I have.

Lovely home stay with a very sweet family. Breakfast and dinner was very yummy, room was spacious and very clean, location is great. We had a beautiful time.

We were staying for four nights at karthok homestay and we had a really good time. Breakfast and even dinner was included so we had the chance to eat so much delicious homemade food! We stayed in winter but the nice hot shower and an extra blanket that was provided kept us warm and cozy. Generally the service is really good, everyone maked sure we felt comfortable. There are quite some nice hiking routes easily accessible by foot from the homestay. We came here to spend some nice calm and quiet time in nature and that’s exactly what we got. ☺️

It's a nice homestay close to the 'center' of Yuksom. The family is friendly and helpful. They helped us to get a guide for the Goechala trek. The food is good. You can also get a chang (a kind of beer from millet) here. There is also WiFi which is especially convenient if you haven't bought a local SIM card. Our room was nice and clean and bed linen and towels were clean (which is not really common in that part of the world).

Andy was very friendly and spoke good English. Room was clean and spacious. Hot water. Firm mattress and comfortable pillow. Delicious food. Noisy dogs though!

They provide the best possible service. True Homestay. Hosts are very cooperative & helpful in nature. Plenty of open area and greeneries.

Great place to spend vacation and relax. The family is very friendly and cooperative. Food was very simple but taste was amazing. If I visit yuksom in the near future, would love to stay at this place again.
