Hotel O RGP Residency Kodaikanal lake

the worst had happened!! different room was given in a different low quality hotel. broken tiles broken comot no water in sink no security or any gate!!our room didn't have electricity. no sanitization was done. no towel or anything was given. the owner was completely useless rude person, asked me to deal with Oyo! who again could not make the owner give me the room I had booked! complete waste of money and time and trust! don't book else you will end up in tears if you don't have car as this hotel is middle of nowhere so you will not be able to change to a different hotel also!! I should have checked OYO app ratings before booking. they have done the some thing with everyone!!

Place and staff felt like family and friends. Service was awesome. Food served as per my personalised menu which we won't get normally from a hotel in a tourist place like Kodai. Good parking space. Campfire facility and open area for dance too with music.

OYO 19822 is not near to river as shown in maps Every day we took cab to reach riverside or busstand(2km). After Booking enquired in phone and owner gave me incorrect info about the location. After reaching called OYO customer care team and they were supposed to call me back same day within some hours but called me next day night only, just to apologies for the incident. Cleanliness - avg Had breakfast from here - Below avg Opt for this place if you have your own vehicle. Or 2km to reach river side (BSNL office) Good parking area Calm and quiet place Good Tiffin Centre(not RGP’s) at walkable distance

Place is sealed by government due to illegal construction of commercial property without any approval. So don't book online .
