Country club Lee Crysstal - Boutique Hotel

The hotel was located just a few meters away from Kovalam turning, and very near to Kovalam Bus stop. The rooms were great, and the pool was very very neatly maintained. Cleanliness and food service is something to be improved. The reception didn't pick calls when it was absolutely necessary and the hotel service was so bad, that we had to wait until we starved. They charged extra for room charges but we asked them to cut it off as it was really not acceptable. Good for friends and family gatherings. Would definitely recommend but would also suggest to be a little strict with the hotel people

Booked through Goibibo, stayed at this hotel with wife. This is actually a 2 star category hotel with swimming pool only amenity. Rooms are not cleaned properly, beds are wet, dirty stinky toilets even the hairs are not cleared. Definitely NOT SUITABLE FOR FAMILY. Swimming pool maintained neatly so friends/bachelor gang can enjoy at this price range. No service can expect here, just stay & vacate no one bothered you. Located in main road Kovalam walkable distance(800m) to beach. Car parking are spacious.

Had booked the stay from 2nd October to 5th October 2024 in this property. We liked the hospitality and the food was amazing. Along with the room I had also booked the conference hall for a day long activity as part of a meeting I was attending in Chennai. The facilities provided was top notch and will definitely recommend the property for any future visitors. The property is closely located near the Kovalam beach and off ECR highway.

Day outing was disappointed. They don't have any facilities for day outing for a group except swimming pool. Indoor activities are just 10*10 room. No outdoor games and parking is the only play area. Restaurant is average ambience but food was good and staffs were helpful. Not worth for group day outing.

Very clean and reasonable price.. Got the rooms on offer price.. Includes clean and a beautiful swimming pool in front of the hotel.. Good food..Friendly staff. Nice ambience and bus connectivity to almost all places from hotel..Also very near to beach..The main happiness factor for us was the cute simba, the pomerian dog's company which made us feel homely.. Love him always..

It's similar to a 2 start hotel kind of experience but given the options in Kovalam, It's probably the best you'd get in the stated price range. Couple delux rooms- 3k/night Family Rooms-5k/night Plus you get Swimming in the pool with beach located in walkable distance.

I am Member of Country Club and booked this resort for 6 Nights (check in 7 Nov-24 and check out 13 Nov-24). It's old Property on lease which needs to have a proper maintenance like, main door lock (loose and difficult to open from outside), commode flush (was not working), water taps, shower not working - changed immediately as well as room, bedsheets, pillow, pillow covers, towels cleaning to be improved. Property is mentioned 3 star whereas property may be less than 2 star. Room was specious and front desk and housekeeping staff is polite with co-operative nature. The swimming pool cleanliness is well maintained. The worst part is of Restaurant as the staff didn't aware of the basics in the restaurant serving water and other things which are mandatory. The taste was same including the ingredients for different dishes having the same taste without any changes but with different names having different charges. Asked Counter person was so slow and rude and didn't called shef even after request to discuss on the served food. Morning ordered Breakfast from Room and when got it in Room, Vada was not fried fully whereas it was halfway, Omlet was also the same situation. Even after returning Vada, no much difference or improvement in the quality and for such a type of food why either Members or customers to pay more than outside small cafes and street food quality is much better with very less cost. I had a severe stomach problem due to resort restaurant food quality. The most surprising, I am from Pune and even after calling 2-3 times to Pune Regional office, reply was once in Office will call you but no call in 7 days from them. I think as they are in service /hoslitality services, they need to look in all such major issues for improvements. Also the conversation with the Property manager comments - this property is for 2 days or 2 nights stay only and not for a week or so. This must have been known to the Country Club central reservation team and they must explain about place and stay with details to Members while doing booking, totally communication gap and the good part, booking team insist for Food Package with very charges per head for Buffe Breakfast + Lunch/Dinner which is not there at all. Excuses given by the property due to less number of guests in property buffe breakfast and lunch / dinner will not be there. In such cases, charges collected at the time of booking for food package must've returned to the guest and the can order as per their choice then can pay as normally done - this was at Kodaikanal and Kovalam - Trivandrum Country Club Resorts in February 2024 Trip for 4 people (all Sr Citizens).

Lunch & tea service excellent. Swimming pool was clean and huge... children play options are not satisfactory. ... Mr.Vijay from Restaurant was very courteous. Other new staffs need to be trained properly for quick service. Disappointed with front office service
