So this guest house is very basic as most typical Indian guest houses can be. If that doesn't bother you then you are fine. It's not flash but it has everything you need. Also the staff are very attentive and are always willing to help. It's close to a great cafe : shanti cafe, also lots of shops. ||They did our laundry and fixed our shower, were happy and friendly. ||The room has double bed and the room has seperate shower with toilet. The room is 'grimy' but so are a lot of cheep rooms we saw ( An this is my second time India) |I would stay here again if I wanted a budget accom. Btw we negotiated the price. ||

We had to recently book a room in this hotel at the last minute for an overnight stay. The room was offered to us for a price different from what we saw on the portal. The staff just claimed it as AC room charges. The room was very average, with a functional AC. We got clean sheets. Bathroom had hot water and very basic. It looked clean so we took it. There is no separate parking area. They just use some free space - just sufficient for two cars - to park guest cars. So please avoid if you don't want to park on the road outside.

Not very fancy, but functional. It's a nice hotel to stay if you plan to visit the ashram as it's 5 mins walk from ashram. There is no room services, food in the hotel but many options are available within walking distances. The place is quiet, average cleanliness and decent staff. Don't expect any luxury as you won't be even charged for it!

A lovely place to stay, the hospitality of the staff s amazing! The bathrooms can not be described as clean may be we ran in to some odd one. The roof top restaurant s very good and they serve you nice food specially made on request . Parking can be a problem as there r limited slots for cars and the approach road is quite narrow

Short Answer: Terrible place. Long Answer: Booked rooms worth 3k over three weeks before. On arrival, we were given different rooms because they'd "accidentally" allotted the rooms we'd booked to someone else. These were "Deluxe" rooms, and new cost was 5.7k. The TVs weren't working, the toilets were bad, the AC was noisy, there was no room service, and to top it all off, the staff wouldn't entertain our concerns, and were abusive in the end. The didn't even give us water. Wish I could give a lower rating.

Good location. Very near Ramana Ashram. Rooms are clean and spacious. Single non ac room cost only Rs 750. German bakery, Blooming restaurant and Tibetan restaurant are next door. Shopping area, art gallery, massage parlour nearby.

Plus. Excellent position of the structure, good parking area, very kind staff, good restaurant available on rooftop, filtered water for free, hot water always available, luggage deposit, etc Minus. Lot of toilet maintenance is needed in several rooms (wc leaks continuously, the doors full of muld, etc), room cleaning could be much better than this, bed linens not always clean (look at them and ask for clean ones)
