Hotel varsha grand

Declining quality—last visit (11 Oct 2025) was extremely disappointing I’ve dined at Varsha Grand with family three times over the last 3–4 months. • Visit 1: Excellent taste & service. • Visit 2: Service dipped; taste was fair. • Visit 3 (11 Oct 2025): Both service and taste declined sharply. Timeline & specifics • 2:50 PM: We seated ourselves; no menus or water for ~10 mins despite staff walking by. Had to go to the reception to get attention. • Kids’ order: Fried rice + Gobi Manchurian. Arrived quickly, but the Manchurian had half-raw cauliflower. • Our order (~3:20 PM): Veg Manchow soup, 2 garlic naans, 2 rotis, dal tadka (requested less oil & spicy), mushroom masala (requested extra spicy). • 3:45 PM: Still no soup; restaurant was ~75% empty by then and we considered cancelling. Staff apologized and said it was “almost ready.” • ~3:50 PM: Soup arrived piping hot but over-salted. At the same time, the naans/rotis and curries were brought out with the soup. • This service flow makes little sense: no one serves main course alongside soup—by the time you finish the soup, the mains are already cooling, which is not how hotel management schools teach service sequencing. • Dal tadka: Bland—no salt/spice. • Mushroom masala: Sweet, not the extra-spicy we requested. Bottom line: Long waits, wrong sequencing (mains with soup), and flavors far off our requests. For the time and price, value was poor. Also noticed another table complaining about being served the wrong biryani. At this rate, restaurants that operate like this don’t last long — unless management wakes up to fix their service and kitchen standards soon, that i am not hopeful about this restaurant, as we found the staff at counter to whom we complained does not seem to care, owner seem to care even less. Any way it was my last visit and also there are enough 1 and 2 star reviews, still they do not seem to care enough.

Very bad experience with hotel varsha grand We have visited for lunch today but the restaurant was totally empty space none of the customers were present but we still preferred to have lunch since only biryani was available. We paid the extra bill accidentally and requested management to refund but one of the owner srinivas (vasu) was there and promised us for refund without any ETA. When we tried calling him in the evening he did not answer our call and when we called restaurant number someone answered and assured for refund. Later we happen to talk to srinivas as he was talking soon careless and was rude in matter of refunding the amount. All owners should be shame about this issue as they are running such a huge business and failed to refund just 1683 rs of refund which was credited extra tontherir account.

Very bad experience with this hotel I don't ever suggest any one to this hotel from now onwards,inexperienced staff, lots of miscommunication between servers and cashier, i asked chiken kabab after waiting for 15-20 minutes they came and said dish is not there but actually cashier didn't order it to the kitchen, in salad they serve only onion with nimbu no cucumber and carrot even after asking also they refused to give it. Coming to the prices it's heavier than other restaurants,staff is over burdened with multiple tables you can't get your food served on time..

Very Expensive Food Rates. Example: For 140/- Soup they charged 167(20 Parcel Charge and 7 Rsm GST). GST is understandable. But for a small box and small cover they have charged 20/- which is very high. Not much happy with the rates.

We had a very bad experience at hotel varsha grand. We ordered naan with chicken curry they give curry which was filled with full of sand and small stone.

Had a fantastic experience at the varsha grand restaurant ! The atmosphere is cozy and inviting, with a warm glow and friendly staff. Food is excellent 👌 the best one shahi gosh biryani must try thank you varsha grand staff
