Hotel Samrat

The hotel's exteriors, reception, and hallway look good, but the rooms appear old and dull. The main issue is the cleanliness of the restrooms, as the closet looks dirty and unhygienic. During my stay, I had a chance to witness how they clean the restrooms, and it was disappointing. The cleaning staff didn't have proper cleaning chemicals or accessories, and they weren't provided with masks or hand gloves. They merely rubbed the seat (not the plastic closet seat), the outside of the closet, and the tank with a bath scrubber and rinsed it with water. They didn't even pour a few drops of any toilet cleaner and brush inside the bowl. The taps and washbasin also looked dirty. Additionally, during my 10-day stay, they provided me with only one small soap and one bottle of water, which I assumed was fresh and sealed. However, I was shocked to discover that they had just filled it with can water, and I don't know who and how they used the bottle earlier. Mosquitoes and cockroaches were also present and will accompany us. My recommendation is that they engage their reasonable staff to clean one vacant room daily thoroughly. Provide necessary cleaning chemicals, accessories, and supervision during the cleaning process to ensure they clean the taps, washbasins, walls, floors, and dusting thoroughly. They are expensive, considering I stayed in a standard non-AC room and noticed a 4+ star rating hotel with AC for the same charge, which was clean and neat. They should be more reasonable considering the amount of money they charge.

A very clean, hygienic and budget friendly hotel in Balanagar cross roads. A very convenient location for stay being close to the industrial areas of Balanagar, HAL, BHEL, BEL etc. Ample parking and plenty of eateries around the hotel catering to all types of cuisine. The rooms are well maintained and the staff efficient and courteous.

Hotel Samrat is located on the main road, near Balanagar. On the ground floor, the hotel is there. Backside Samrat Presidency is available with lodging and function halls. Ambience is good. On the ground floor, one function hall is there. The function hall on the 4th floor will accommodate nearly 200 members without any inconveniences. Beside the function hall, the dining hall (spacious) with wash rooms is available. Function hall and dining hall, both are air-conditioned. Food will be prepared and served by the hotel people. Taste will be good and no wastage will be there. Everybody will get satisfied... Parking is available for 2-wheelers and 4-wheelers. Rent and food cost is medium and best....

The hotel staff was great. The service was way better and interaction through customer was pleasant. Great experience and yeah the taste was delicious 😋. Eager to visit again.

Room handles are broken, bedsheets and towels are dirty as if they are never washed. Cockroaches roaming around in rooms. Water in the bathroom smells like it is coming from gutter. Do not accommodate 1st floor front rooms as there is alot of noise pollution caused by traffic on the road and it would be difficult to sleep at night. My only reason to stay is because it is near to Air India establishment. There are alot of better options available nearby.

They accept only cash. We reached 5his place for breakfast at 7:30am.. it wasnt very crowded and we called for poori and masala dosa. Poor was average, and Dosa was disappointing. It was very dry and kadhak and thats not how it is generally made. The water they serve is not appropriate so we had bottles water. Hot Coffee we ordered was not regular filter coffee but the instant one with very strong flavour. :( Overall, we felt that there is NO value for money which we paid. Service was okay and ambience was neat. I felt for the brand name they have and given that this area hardly has any decent restaurants, Hotel Samrat could do a far better job. The street vendors serve better dosa and poor than this place.

It was a very nice and comfortable stay for me with the family. The front desk people were so courteous and gave us upgrade to the large room and it was really comfortable. The linen was clean and house keeping was to a very high standard

No hot water facility, rooms not good for that cost old bed and cots..
