Ash YOGA Hotel with view of taj mahal

The best part I enjoyed about the spiritual yoga hostel is its location, a walking distance from taj mahal but in a very quite area so finally I could sleep in peace without the noise from the busy streets. The owner is always there, helpful with your requests and informations that you might have. The rooms are basic but clean and spatious. The bathrooms are not next to the bedroom which makes it perfect - if someone is flushing the toilet or taking a shower you're not disturbed by the noise. The roof terrace also very basic but good to enjoy a cup of tea or whatever you desire. Haven't tried the food in the hostel but I know there is a restaurant menu available. Big storage box under the beds, good wifi signal, I certainky enjoyed my few days in this hostel.

I only spent one night at Spiritual Yoga but it turned out to be a great and comfortable stay in blazing hot Agra. location is good, pretty close to the Taj East Gate (walkable distance, when not too hot) and away from the most crowded, loud and turistic areas, so coffee shops, restaurants and stalls around there are decently priced and offer good quality. I was looking for a peaceful private room and found exactly that, with the added bonus of the super helpful and friendly staff. I would definitely this place, besides the value for money it is also an example of excellent hospitality :)

Didn't know the timing of checking in and reached early in the morning by 8 but still the owner let me in and had me stayed. Great experience, everything was clean, owner is familiar with you and it's also very near to one of the gates of Taj Mahal so there's no need to think twice to book it or not. Thank you again for letting me in so early and keep the great work up.

Was a friendly place to stay with a welcoming host who helped us book future things for India. Room was cool besides having no AC. Main hangout area was a bit dark during the day, creating a bit of a weird vibe. However it was really hot so perhaps this was to maintain the coolness inside? Great value for money.

I had a great experience at this guesthouse. The owner is very friendly and always up to helping. Of course it is not as clean and fancy like a luxury hotel, but for the price I can not complain at all. the Taj Mahal is within walking distance. :)

We booked this hostel on hostelworld. I specifically looked for a hostel that had 24 hour reception because we were taking a night bus and would be arriving at 4:30 am. We booked our room for that night and the next. When we arrived we planned to drop off our bags and freshen up and leave. This plan has been common throughout our several weeks in India at every other hostel we’ve been to. But, this time, we were greeted with an irritated worker who informed us because we woke him up he would be charging us for two beds for a night we had not used. I’ve never heard of being charged extra because the staff was bothered as an acceptable practice. We even offered to pay for one of the beds because we did arrive so early and maybe should have communicated that. He was not happy with that. I have not experienced such a lack of hospitality or customer service at any other hostel I’ve stayed at. We left and went down the street to Zostel who were super accommodating and helpful!!!

All the reviews are hoax. As per ashmit the bear packers had closed down and this place has started just 15 days ago. So reviews 3 weeks cant happen. U need to open your shoes and go. Good idea. Just that the whole floor is dusty. Temp of Agra...12degrees...he gives you threadbare blankets. All ur clothes etc needs to b on the floor...one teeny tiny bedside table available. No mirror in the room. No hooks to even hang ur towel in the toilet. Barely hot water trickles down. U say anything...he says we r just starting. This is not a luxury hotel. We give u a bed and blanket. 2200/- per day for a bed and threadbare blanket. He hands out clean sheets as if that is not a basic requirement. Very very bad. We left a day early.could not take it anymore.he charged full even though most of the things were not properly set up and we had to leave as my son got a cold because of sheet like blankets. No sorry nothing...

I do not recommend this place. After booking for a dorm for three girls, the owner tells us that he can not put us all together and that it's not a logical things that we of course want to be all in the same room (common sense?) and make fun of us. Finally we manage to get a dorm all together. And around midnight when my friends are changing, the owner just burst into the room without knocking (my friends are half naked). So we try to explain to him that he could at least just knock, but he gets really mad telling us that it's not a private room so he can come anytime of the day and night, and if we are not happy with that we can just check out! More than that it's important for you to know that the sheet haven't been cleaned at all, they are wet and you can smell it. It would be a lie to tell that we were feeling safe in that place. It is neither spiritual or a yogi mood place. Please read all the reviews on that place and not the one that comes first. It is incredible that this place has 4 stars.
