OYO 14635 Hotel Orchid

Horrible experience in this hotel.rooms were stinking. Mattresses were torn, couldn't even sleep on that. They don't know how to manage the guests. People were screaming at corridor at 5 am,but no staff was there to keep them shut. Torn and dirty stinky bedsheets and towels. Look like they didn't wash.

Room is spacious,but bathroom fittings are old and does not work properly.in winter they provide hot water for 3 -4 HR during day time.food was ok ,but inadequate staff add to long waiting hour.my parents couldn't sleep one night due to presence of rat in their room. Hope they address hygiene issue in future.otherwise staff behaviour was really good

Pictures are misleading. Also, how did this hotel get listed as "3 star hotel" in google? I stayed there in a group of 20, rooms were disaster with untidy bedsheets with bugs, bathroom was unclean. Despite several requests to atleast change the bedsheets, staff did not intend to help and claim the sheets were ok. After unbearable conditions, few of us stayed at lobby and then only they decided to help a bit. Front desk staff was relatively well spoken and helpful regarding our request for early breakfast. Not a good experience staying there. Would not recommend if going with family or friends.

Just find a better place. It will be difficult but find a better place. Cons: Electricity problems (even elevator gets stuck), bathroom windows of adjacent rooms face each other (very creepy), TV doesn't work, food is terrible...just bland, people who helped serve the food were asking for bottles of breezer and when refused they kept staring at us.

This hotel is little bit outskirt from main Agra. It is clean, well decorated from outside. We stayed in a medium sized room with a very big glass window. A queen size bed and two sitting chairs and a small tea table was there. Bathroom was small but clean and with exhaust fan. We didn't interact with hotel staffs because our was a packaged tour (Delhi Agra hardware). Some points you have to take in your mind if you want to book a room there. 1. Keep a vehicle with you as there is no taxi or auto or riksha stand there. 2. Take you food outside if you don't want to take food in hotel as external foods are not allowed. 3. There is one small departmental store. 4. No hotel for snacks or meal near by there.

I hardly rate this low to any place but this hotel has made me do this. I have had my worst experience with Hotel Orchid. The management at its worst. They have listed welcome drink with GOIBIBO but when you visit, no welcome drink. The rooms were indeed clean but I’ll maintained. The washroom tap literally broke down when I tried to turn it on. Moreover, who puts restrictions on drinking inside the room? I mean people travel for leisure and they tend to drink. How could you put restriction on that. And even if you do, you better put it as a notification. And should enlist that as a feature, right? But at Hotel Orchid, they will let you check in and when you’re settled in your room and you order snacks to open up your drinks they will come up with these restrictions that you cannot drink..not even inside your room. Seriously? I literally checked out of the room in less than 45 minutes. And they didn’t even care to ask us to stay or anything. Moreover the attendant at the counter hesitated to put our checkout time in the log register. The service stuff is good though but what difference that would make. Not recommended at all.

We went in October. The management has changed and the new management is very hospitable and will go out of their way to ensure your comfort. Rooms are clean and spacious for 2 people.

It was a good time spent with Orchid, the staff is good in service provided, everything is in the perfect manner as required by any guest but unable to use wifi service as it was not working in 2nd floor (next time i'll increase this rating if your wifi will work). Appreciate your Service. Good Luck Team.
