Our stay at The Janki Hotel, Ayodhya, was nothing short of excellent. The hotel is strategically located, just a few minutes away from the iconic Shri Ram Janmbhoomi, and yet offers peace and quiet for a relaxed experience. We visited for a family function and stayed 3 nights in 2 super deluxe rooms. The staff is the soul of this hotel. Always smiling, respectful, and extremely helpful. They handled all our requests — be it early morning breakfast, housekeeping, or helping elderly family members with stairs and luggage. Their behaviour truly reflects Indian hospitality at its best. Rooms were cozy and clean beyond expectations. From the bedsheets to curtains, everything felt freshly washed and maintained. Bathrooms had toiletries, hot water, and proper exhausts, which many hotels ignore. The Wi-Fi was strong and continuous. We were also happy with the hotel’s COVID hygiene standards, such as sanitizers in common areas, regular cleaning, and food served in covered utensils. This hotel truly deserves appreciation for delivering a 5-star experience at a 2-star price. Will recommend this to everyone visiting Ayodhya. Jai Shri Ram 🙏

I recently stayed at The Janki Hotel, Ayodhya, during my visit to Shri Ram Janmbhoomi Mandir, and I must say it was one of the most peaceful and comfortable stays I’ve had in a pilgrimage city. The location is excellent — within walking distance from the temple yet away from the noise, making it perfect for families and senior citizens. The hotel offers secure parking which is a huge bonus in this area. The rooms were immaculately clean, well-ventilated, and spacious. The bedsheets, pillow covers, and towels were fresh, and the bathrooms were sparkling clean with continuous hot water. The Wi-Fi worked flawlessly, and the hotel even offers smart TVs in rooms. What truly stood out was the level of hygiene and attention to detail. Every corner of the hotel, from the corridors to the reception area, felt well-kept. The staff was extremely courteous, soft-spoken, and attentive. They were always ready to assist with temple timings, local routes, and arranging transport. We even received early morning tea and packed breakfast when we left early for darshan. The in-house restaurant served tasty and satvik food – clean, homely, and served hot. Overall, The Janki Hotel truly lives up to its reputation. It’s a budget-friendly hotel with luxury-like service, and I would strongly recommend it to anyone visiting Ayodhya. We were a group of 6 friends visiting Ayodhya for Ram Mandir darshan, and after researching many hotels, we booked 3 rooms at The Janki Hotel. To our surprise, this hotel turned out to be a hidden gem in the heart of the city. It’s only a few minutes away from Ram Janmbhoomi, Hanumangarhi, and other key spots. The hospitality of the staff was top-notch. From the reception to the housekeeping staff, everyone was polite and attentive. Our rooms were kept ready before arrival, and early check-in was provided on request without any fuss. We needed extra bedding and it was arranged within minutes. The hotel is very well maintained, and you can tell that the owners take personal interest in ensuring high standards. Clean rooms, AC working perfectly, bedsheets smelling fresh, and bathrooms were like you’d expect in a 4-star hotel. It’s impressive considering how economical the rates are. This is one of the few hotels in Ayodhya where you get value for every rupee. No hidden charges, no hassle. They even guided us with local sightseeing and arranged a cab at a reasonable price. Highly recommended for groups, families, and solo travelers alike. Would give more than 5 stars if I could!

The approach from the main road to the hotel is through a drainage-filled road, making it difficult to walk and transport is not feasible. The rooms are in very poor condition – not cleaned properly, full of mud, with no proper water supply for the shower. The bathroom and bedroom tiles are wet and sinking, and even the corridor slab is broken (sharing images for your reference). On top of this, the service is even worse – completely unprofessional and unacceptable. This property is nowhere close to any category as mentioned. Considering the overall condition and service, I strongly request not a place to stay

Every thing is absolutely perfect and fine room service and staff is also excellent and well mannered and good to talk must visit this place if u come in Ayodha and plus point is temple is only 2km away from this hotel

Fantastic experience. Very very close to Ram Mandir. Hotel staff is very hospitable and helpful. They arranged for everything and took great care of us. Rooms are perfect and have everything required. Great food great service 24x7. Great experience overall will visit again soon.
