Lotus Nikko Hotel

Set out in spacious lawns, the hotel had large comfortable rooms. Toilet and bath were large. Breakfast spread was good. Location is very close to the Jain temples (can walk, or take a 5 min auto ride) and on the way to Jetavana. Ideal for an overnight stay.

Common Tag at Main Entrance: Hotel Closed for Maintenance. Frequent issues with online booking & arrival chaos. Unless you aren't providing online booking services, why they are visible on map or sites, make clear notice to ensure safety of customers.

We were there on the way to Jethvana, it was an average hotel. WiFi was available rooms are standard. But average. Buffet food is good in both dinner and breakfast. We got packed our lunch on our way to have. |Nice surrounding in the hotel area.

Stayed one night during Buddhist pilgrimage to Jetavana. Staff is nice with great service; room is old; bed is hard; complimentary Wifi worked well; electricity can temporarily shut down; food is ok in restaurant (the fried rice and noodles were bad that day). Good basic hotel for short stay.

We had stayed here in our buddha circuit trip.||||This hotel room are smaller than the Kushinaga hotel but it is good enough for two people. The bath tub and hot water was really relaxing for the long time on the bus riding trip.||||The service is great, food are excellent.

Don’t make the mistake of booking this hotel via booking sites ever, you’ll be shocked once you arrive at the property. Sharing an ordeal: My stay was booked by my company via MakeMyTrip for 7-9th February 2023, I arrived a little late (around 7 p.m.) at the hotel. I was shocked to see that the hotel was locked from outside, there was not even a security person available, another person approached and asked me to call the manager whose number was mentioned at the hotel hoarding outside, upon calling he told that they haven’t received any booking, I told them that I have the booking voucher which he asked me share via whatsapp. After sometime he called me back and told me that they’ve stopped receiving bookings via MMT and hence I won’t be allowed to check-in, however if I still wish to stay I’ll have to shell out 5k but on the other hand the hotel was booked for 1.6k by the company. Since this place receives a lot of tourist footfall, I assume it’s just a trick to earn money because the hotel from outside doesn’t event look worthy of 1.6k. Horrible experience, horrible behavior, avoid this at all costs.

Stayed for one night to visit Jethavana. ||Pros:|1.Room is nice and spacious |2.Good hot water|3.Wifi works |4.Not much variety but food was nice|5.Staff are nice and helpful|6. Allowed us to late checkout ||Cons:|1.No wifi in rooms|2.Wifi was slow in the second day|3.No dessert in the buffet |4.Beds were small and not very comfortable |5. AC is an old one with no remote and it was noisy

Property is very old. Facilities and amenities are getting poor. Needs renovation. In room amenities are limited. Bathroom fittings are limited to only shampoo and soap. Old linens and mattresses. Bo welcome drinks nor welcome upon arrival. Food menu limited. Rooms have water logging issues. Otherwise stay ok.
