Hotel Adelphi Grande

Very poor condition and dirty all around. Please see pictures shared. Full of dirty things under the bed. Bed sheets were not cleaned absolutely. It was used by people who were there definitely. TV was not working…..very bad condition. Must complain to Indian authorities about hygiene of this hotel

Dear guest Hotel Adelphi Grang is located in Buddha Marg in Kushinagar . It is very Good Proprite and. MR Abhay Dube is Manager is very polite person all Staff is very nice. The Services provide is very excellent we recommend to every one stay in this hotel. We are thanks for Mr Dube sir and all staff.

Location is good u will like it because it's away from road so it's quietand rooms are fine maybe prices are high but that is negotiable.

The room was beautiful, practical and provided great privacy. The food was great, we had our first ever prawn hamburger which was spectacular; all the staff were lovely.”

The location is fantastic - one block from the Orno River bridge where all the jewelry stores are. Easy walking distance to Duomo, the museums, a 15 minute walk to the train station (though when you first arrive take a cab), the market, etc. Couldn't find a better location. I would HIGHLY recommend this hotel and would stay there again

I stayed here last December for one night while visiting Kushinagar. Being December, the weather was a bit cold so I looked for a hotel with a heater in the room, hot showers, wifi, and that would accept credit cards as payment. This hotel had a slow wifi signal in the lobby only, which appears to be common throughout all of India. Hotels with wifi in the rooms are hard to come by and wifi is always a slwo signal. The hotel receptionist claimed they accepted credit cards but when I attempted to pay with my card in the morning they could not figure out how to use the machine. I dont think the machine worked, I called my credit card company and they said no attempts to charge the card went through. So no credit card payments after all, which is also too common at Indian hotels. The shower was not very hot either, which is also common at Indian hotels. At least there was a heater in the room so the air temperature was warm. This is a no frills hotel, and a way overpriced for what you get. The bill was 4,500 rupees which equated to $75 US, hardly a bargain. A fair price for these rooms should only be about $30 or $40 US dollars, or 1500 to 2000 rupees.

"Best hotel, best location). Neat and clean hotel, suitable for all type of travellers. Staffs are very kind and helpful. In Kushinagar Buddhist place at this cost getting compact, comfortable and clean. One of best suitable for business and official travellers and for tour at Kushinagar gautam buddha place. Mr.matasyraj Singh management and Welcoming guy providing all facilities and security needed. Thanks

Blood on sheets - Bedbugs - No Hot Water! Left with no shower. Pure scam for tourist. They know you will be there for a very short time. Be very careful. Stayed here 1 night. Discovered the sheets had blood marks and hair on the pillows. When I demanded they be changed they acted as it they do this all the time(!) "Fine, fine we change no problem..." Why not change every time? Then they go to another room to take sheets and those sheets and pillows are also used - never changed. No problem collecting your money for room but in return you get disgusting used sheets, pillows, etc. They know you will not complain because you are there for a short time (tourist). I ultimately slept with full clothes on because the blood marks is the start of a bedbug infestation. My experience in Dec 2019
