The Grace Residency

Absolutely pathetic hotel. This is not a hotel but a third class service apartment. Before check in, we requested the man at the reception to ensure that the room is clean since we were travelling with a child. They have a small reception which is like a small booth in the market area. The hotel guy took us to a shady basement parking saying that the room is in another building. The building and pool they show in the pictures is some other hotel. The room was extremely dirty and was stinking. The foul smell was as if someone had vomited. The carpets were full of dust and the sofa cover was torn. Even the hospitality staff is not accessible. We immediately asked the reception to change our room but they offered to provide a room freshener which in no way was the solution. When we decided to leave the hotel and asked for refund then they agreed to change the room. Although, the room had no smell but it was still unhygienic as there was dust on the carpet and balcony. Even the toilet had yellow sewage kind of water. Worst experience ever. Now they will say the guest didn't stay with us but we have all the booking details and payment proof. Also, the morning breakfast was awful. The poha was absolutely stale and the parantha was thick and uncooked, although the cafe ambience was fine. They are not here to serve you but only to earn money. Multiple hotel/service apartments are being operated in this building arena which you see in the pictures. Please do your research before choosing this hotel.

The photos they have put up are of the common building, of the swimming pool etc, making me think it's a hotel, the rooms are amongst multiple offices, basically it's inside a commercial building, which is a bit odd, the corridors are not clean, found hair strands and cigarette buds and wrappers outside and I found a cockroach in my room. I went by looking at the pics and reviews but was totally disappointed, wondering if they even real. The location was the only thing which was good, checked out in 15 mins.

Here are the key issues I faced during my stay:Dirty Room: The room was in a terrible state when I checked in. The floors were dusty, and the bed linens looked like they hadn't been changed or cleaned in a long time. It was very unhygienic and uncomfortable.Bad Room Service: The room service was extremely poor. Despite multiple calls to the reception, the staff was either unresponsive or took hours to address even basic requests. The service was unprofessional and frustrating.Rude Behavior of the Hotel Owner: The worst part of my stay was the behavior of the hotel owner. Instead of addressing the issues, the owner was rude and dismissive when I raised my concerns. This attitude made the experience even more unpleasant.Overpricing: For the level of service and cleanliness provided, the prices charged were exorbitant. I felt like I was being overcharged for a subpar experience.Dirty Bathroom: The bathroom was in a deplorable condition. It was dirty, with stains everywhere, and there was an unpleasant smell throughout my stay. I stayed in their best room. ₹ 3000/- per night. Rooms look good. but, not clean enough. you will notice hairs on white bedsheet. washroom could have been cleaner as well. Using Bathroom Tap was hitting it's mirror. They provided only 1 towel for two people. only 1 plate and no spoon / fork for two people. As for service, it doesn't exist. I asked them for 2 Water bottles at 7 PM, which didn't ever arrive. 😐 We asked for breakfast to be delivered to our rooms, didn't happen. 🥲 So, it's okay room, but not enough to justify 3000₹ I have had better experience at Varanasi and ayodhya at a price point of 3500 - 4000.

The hotel’s location was perfect for both business and leisure. The staff was friendly, and they made my stay comfortable. The breakfast spread was delicious too. Definitely my top choice for future stays!
