Hotel Pratiksha

Hotel is situated in the heart of city and easily shared Rickshaw available for bus stand and Station. However it is situated in mid of main market some time it is difficult to reach by car specially peak hours. Overall rooms are clean with good service.

This property is huge in the heart of city which is neat the railway station. The approach roads are narrow. Rooms here are big enough, clean, room service is available. Parking is available. Corridors are even clean.

Older property but maintained. Rooms are good, with nice attached bathrooms. The room we stayed in was having TV the size of your desktop monitor. Cleanliness is thing you will notice here. I gave it 3 stars because of its location, which is inside a busy market. Parking is provided in hotel but you will have to take your car through busy market it is located on.

Its okay okay type hotel.. parking was not readily available.. rooms were okay.. cleaniness was okay. Geyser was working (I visited in winters).. service was okay too. To get to it you might have to get through some narrow and busy roads if you are coming from delhi. railway flyover near sai hospital needs to be covered to reach there and thats a big challange in moradabad.

We booked five rooms in this hotel months in advance... all AC rooms. We planned to check in late night on 23rd May and check out early morning the next day. Before leaving Gurgaon, I had called this hotel reception and reconfirmed our bookings.||||To our horror, when we reached at around 11.30 pm, we were told that there are only three rooms available and the best they can do is give an extra bed or offer a non-AC rooms (in scorching heat of May...no thanks!). We endlessly argued for another 15-20 mins at the reception but could not reach a conclusion. Finally, we agreed for extra bedding. The check in took an eternity, and Hotel Pratiksha stood upto its name... Pratiksha - The endless wait.||||No water bottles were offered in room. The AC was loud as if it was screeching for a maintenance service, the fridge wasn't working either. Due to hot weather outside, even insects and reptiles like lizard and spider took shelter with us in cool room. Overall, room was in shambles... only good this was that linens were clean.||||The parking is minimal, barely adequate for 5-6 cars, the location is in bylanes of Moradabad... ||||Overall, its avoidable... if stay is only for night halt, better stay on the highway and avoid this place altogether.

I rented a room for 1400Rs on 24th November. It was cold and they promised the rooms have hot water from some central plant. Next morning i had a train to catch at 10am. I called for tea at 6am that came at 7:45 and when i ordered the tea the told me to run the left tap for warm water. The tap ran for the entire duration till i received the tea. When the tea came in i reported no warm water had come. They insisted i keep running the tap n if the warm water doesn't come call us at reception. I called noone received the call or called back. Finally i had to descend two floors n go and ask in person where the receptionist said why didn't you call us earlier. At 8:15 a guy came to give the newspaper. No toothpaste or soap was provided, extra towel request was declined. This guy said some tap of the plant was shut and the warm water will come in another few minutes. At 8:30 i washed my hair with cold water and left the room to board my train.

Although it is 2022, Hotel Pratiksha in Moradabad still requires a "marriage certificate" from couples. I had a very bad experience at this hotel when I came to stay with my wife for two days. The receptionist was insensitive and highly conservative person who insisted that "surname of me and my wife should be same". He allowed us to check in only after I sent him our marriage certificate. We stayed in the costliest room of this hotel and still got treated with insensitivity. We payed ₹2240/- per day for being treated badly by the receptionist. Rooms had no dental kits or hotel slippers. We had to call room service many times to get these basic services. The same middle-aged receptionist was entertaining local police officers in lobby. This shows double standards of this hotel. Had a very bad experience at this hotel. This hotel's staff has no hospitality etiquettes, whatsoever.
