Deceptive and Dishonest - Avoid This Place** Our experience at this so-called "hotel" was a scam. We were traveling with our 2-year-old daughter and were shown a spacious room with a balcony at a fair price. However, when we checked in, they gave us a much smaller room at the same price and claimed it was the room they had shown us. They promised the larger room would be available in an hour, so we waited. After an hour, they completely changed their story, insisting we’d only seen the smaller room. To get the larger room, they demanded more money! With no proof of their earlier claims, we had to look elsewhere. Thankfully, we found a better place nearby for less money. This isn’t even a proper hotel—just a floor with four rooms pretending to be one. The online listings are misleading, and the staff is dishonest. Avoid this place at all costs!

Genuine Experience of my stay at Ganga Sparsh Hotel. I travelled to Kashi for Kashi Vishwanath Darshan with my family and stayed here for 2-3 Days. I do not recommend this place, but you can consider if no other option. Many of the details are hyped in the description and one of the main owner is more money oriented rather customer focused or in general helping. It is not a hotel, it is a place with 4-5 rented room by few people and no registration in place. 1) This place is run by few people with not there Original Names. The Hotel is not even registered. On booking.com they ask for Taxes (GST), but when you ask a proper bill it is not even registered. They will tell you the owner name is Prince, but his actual name is "Suleman" and property belongs to someone else. So, if you face any issue with respect to your stay, you will not have any single legal details, and realise all this is running with different names and no registration. ** So if you are a Foreigner, probably a No to stay here, in a property which do not have any legal identity. ** 2) The price is too much, just walk on streets near by, you will find each property much worth than this one. The owner looks more behind money.. We checked in 12-13 hours late, it was basically half day check in, but we paid full amount... that was ok... on the day of our checkout, we faced lot of rain in Kashi and asked owner to just allow us to checkout a few hour late [1-2 Hr], but the behaviour he has shown was like completely unacceptable... He probably do not understand the situation of people that when people going to temple they could be late there and there are heavy rains also.. he was not easily allowing to stay for even half hour, but he was ready to allow by paying one more day extra... 3) I got near by much better another room in 25% lesser amount. 4) There is no Geyser in the Room. 5) It is mentioned the room has city view, there is no view, there is small window which shows a complete black wall of another building. 6) Room size is very small, it is just the size of bed, a chair and space for two people to stand, that's it. 7) It is on first floor with no lift. So, no for senior citizens. 8) No Almirah. 9) No all time cleaning or helping staff, there is just a household maid, who come at some particular time. Good part :- 1) Place is near by to Gadowlia Chowk and decent distance from Temple. 2) Till exact hotel, 4 wheeler can not come in day time, but you can manage by some Rickshaw to reach there and get it drop just 20 meters away from Hotel. 3) Bedsheets and room were clean. 4) There is a person there, Rishu [probably his short name], seems quite helpful. 5) Powerback up for light and fan there. 6) You get a room with electricity and water... so that's good. :)

We were in varanasi for 5days and ganga sparsh was a great place to stay with clean room and best service also friendly staff facilities

SCAMSTERS !! They will show you one room and give you another ! Beware of these guys . There are many alternate stays available . Updated 12/13 : The owner's response (Mr. Mohammad Sarim) is entirely inaccurate. While a refund was ultimately provided, it was only after we strongly objected to the false promises made by their staff, Mr. Rohit and Mr. Harsh Singh, who handle operations onsite, while Mr. Mohammad Sarim manages the property remotely. In response to my review, Mr. Mohammad Sarim further misrepresented the facts. I was initially shown and promised a larger room. Upon arriving with my family and luggage, I was given a smaller room with the assurance that we would be shifted to the larger room within an hour. However, after an hour, they claimed the larger room was unavailable as it had been booked online. When I escalated the matter and pressed for options, Mr. Sarim then offered the larger room but only at a higher price. At this point, recognizing their dishonesty, I decided to leave. As for the claim that I stayed on the property for three hours, this time was spent dealing with arguments over their deceptive practices. My family and I lost valuable time, which is frustrating. I stand by my statements, and they are well aware of their actions. I see no need to justify their false claims any further and will not engage on this matter again. I hope this review helps others by alerting them to the experience they may face when dealing with this property.

We stayed one night at the hotel and we found the location to be very good as well as the cleanliness and facilities of the hotel. Definitely highly recommended for a short stay in Varanasi

I spent two days at Ganga Sparsh Homestay and it was a great experience. This homestay is situated at an excellent location, with all the major temples and ghats within walking distance. The surrounding peace makes it even more special. The staff is also very helpful and hospitable. The rooms are clean and comfortable, giving you a homey feel. If you want to experience the beauty of Varanasi closely, Ganga Sparsh Homestay is a great option.
