Hotel Ashoka Ganges

There is no relation between the rate they charged and the rooms. Rooms are very small and not maintained neatly. They won't provide even water to the rooms and never pick up the room service phone. There is a bad smell outside the room and the open halls. There is renovation work is going on and so there is dust. They never bothered about us during our stay and never even helped or make arrangements for local tour or etc., Only advantage is nearer to Nandi circle (near to temple). Those who are in the reception of the hotel even won't smile at least. We saw the room boy only at the time of check in and check out.

Would have given negative star if it was allowed. I reserved a room for my elderly parents for a short rest, but despite paying for the entire day, the hotel refused to allow my sister to accompany them to their room. They insisted on canceling the booking. It's disappointing that this hotel, in a city known for its reverence for Lord Shiva, treats its customers in such a manner.

In this much expenditure one can easily get a much more better place to rest. The rooms are wayyy small and washrooms are like matchsticks boxes one couldn't even stand properly without touching walls as well as washroom is smelly as well as faucets are not fixed properly. The only thing good about this hotel is that this is located near ghats and shree Kashi Vishwanath temple.

don't book this hotel if you want your mental peace intact If you are looking for hotel so unfortunately this is not the one you should.I booked this hotel on 7th of march for 9th march for 2room 8000 and they didn't give me keys for room till 2pm because there room wasn't ready and they were too arrogant they took money before giving us room and refuse to give us refund and it's owner Ashok is not a good person he was shouting on us and showing us his aggressive behaviour,this is the worst hotel in entire Kashi and it is too expensive hotel that it deserves,the room service is worst here no one comes In hotel while calling them multiple times. I was forced to face this much that I couldn't fully enjoy my trip,

Rooms are soo small only u can sleep on dirty bed no houskeeping no billing invoice provided high rate as compared to service provided washroom was too small and very dirty no space for luggage

It is a very good hotel to stay when in Varanasi. On Girja more close to Gadholia and Dashashwamedh ghat. Kashi Vishwanath temple is close too...at a walking distance. Totos freely available right in front of the Hotel. Food is good especially the Chinese cuisine. Service is excellent. It was great being here.

Rooms are very dirty, washrooms not clean properly, Very agressive behaviour of staff. Hotel prices are too high and service are not like pay Rs. 1000/- per day. I am a marketing manager, most of time i use to travel and stay in hotel, I never had such poor service any hotel like before. Don't go with seeing image/outlook/ picture they have just made to Loot money from visiters. I would not recommend any one to waste your money and spoils your tour.
