HOTEL GANGOTRI

I stayed with my mother and brother in law there during KUMBH 2025. That time the room tariff was too high due to Kumbh. But as per the tariff the room doesn't match. Even the room was not cleaned and there were cigarette buds and burnt match sticks in the washroom. Even there was oily spots on the linen too. Still i have the photos of all the issues i had mentioned in my post. As a travel agent i wont prefer and recommend this property to any of my know person or client. Location of this property is good but all over experience is not upto my expectations as per the room tariff. I haven't found the photo sharing option, otherwise i could have share those too. Generally I don't post any review until I recieve any kind of request from the property.

Room's are just ok . Room service is zero. Dirty rooms. No response of room service. Very bad hotel option. I came with my family and asked for room service many times but no response. Staff is shameless. No cleaning of rooms. Ac and geyser is out of service. Also insects and flies in the room. No towels and door mats provided. Staff is out of service at night.

Hotel is at best location for Kashi Vishwanath mandir and also for Ganga ghat(Dashwamedh ghat)

Pathetic management and too much of attitude at reception, rooms were not cleaned properly. Also even after requesting they didn't bothered to clean.

I didn't booked the AC room so i have no idea about that.... But the non AC was quite good. Just because of the hot weather i regret that i should've taken the AC room... staffs were very polite..... Just one thing I found bad was dirty bedsheets and pillow covers.... I don't know if they forgot..... I didn't asked them to change the sheets because I was very busy with my work. But they need to take care of this kind of stuffs

Very nice hotel. Came here in 2016. Very humble and patient staff. Here’s what happened in our stay. We are South Indians on tour of holy places and we carried extra locks to lock our hotel room. When I we went to Visalakshi temple,we left 2 ppl in the room who by mistake left a sleeping kid inside the room and locked him with the keys Inside. The hotel staff helped us patiently and cut the lock. Thank you. Late review as I just remembered being here after 5 years.
